Welcome to the family Mike. One thing about it, when it comes to customer satisfaction BCB also “NEVER GIVES UP!” Good Luck.

To hot to fish in Tennessee? You should be here in Texas. They say the feels like should be 106 tomarrow. Here you put your rods in the rod locker just to keep them cool. If you pick one up you had on the deck for a while you have a hard time holding on to it. I have dipped some in the lake just to cool them off. I keep a towel and ball cap in my cooler and keep swapping them out. Thats Ok though Oct will be here soon. you can keep the white stuff and hard water.

floridaj were are you at in Fla ? I was raised up in Inverness. Worked and belonged to the Ocala bass club.I have been in TX for now for 27 years. been back to Fla several times hauled my boat and did some fishing. When it used to get hot there we used to fish the rivers allot.St Johns, Withalacochee, ect. Are the lakes still low there?

Z-87 You sound like some kinda safety man ? We use AO for our prescription safety glasses. and guess what, they offer prescription progresive bi-focal polorized lenses in polycarb. and you can get tinted side sheilds. with metal frames. Best fishing glasses I ever owned. and I have had some high dollor glasses.

2 speed auto transmision added to outboard mid section for rocket hole shots, then shifts to 2nd for top end speed. If they can not do that then right now I would settle for A/C txmrbass, we have seen a functioning 2 speed gearcase which the rights eventually were sold on. We know where those rights are at this time. The gain was not tremendous, because engine horsepower controls the pitch you turn. The reversing of that theory would be a wise idea. Though that never got to occur. We doubt we will ever see this in bass boats.BCB

Hey Phil I know this guy did not have a license. One time on a work trip to Louisiana a guy asked me if I wanted to go hunting after work. I said sure so we jumped in his truck and took off down the road. He soon handed me a carpenter crayon and every time he seen a road kill he had me get out and draw a circle around it. We soon arrived at a typical run down beer joint were he stopped and asked me if I would like a beer. I said sure, but I thought we were going hunting? He replied “We are!” He then said “After a few beers we are going to drive back and hunt for the fresh kills that are not circled”

OH yea we got some of them in Tx also. I have seen plenty in the 12 to 15 class. They are pretty much the same here. just give them some room in the spring time. and if you see / smell any dead hogs on or near the bank stay away from them it is most likely there lunch and they get grumpy when you get close to there lunch. For the most part you can scare them off buy raising your trolling motor and making a bunch of noise. As of late kayaks are all the rage here. These guys are either real brave or real stupid. I have seen them in 10 plastic Kayaks in waters infested with 10-12 gators. No doubt we will be seeing it on the news someday and of course it will be the gators fault.

How many times have you turned the steering wheel in the boat while your partner is backing you down the ramp. Like you can really steer the trailer from the boat. Most of the time I do not even realize Im doing it. One of my partners thanked me for the help one time. ” Thanks for the help I do not know if I could have done it with out you steering the trailer” Smart *%#@&.

Carmine red is a dark red. Raspberry is like burgandy. Mine is Raspberry looks almost a real dark red in some light but you can see the Burgundy / maroon in bright light http//bassboatowners.com/p/GarySchroeder.jpgLast edited by txmrbass on October 5th, 2007, 8:57 pm, edited 1 time in total.

I fished a Honey Hole team championship on Texoma many years back. We prefished for 2 days and only caught dinks / Smallmouth. First day of tourny we decide to punt!! Hit points with Big crankbaits. found one point with lone tall pine laydown and caught a limit wound up with almost 17 lbs and was in second place. we were happy happy happy. Second day went to same place. first cast hooked up with big fish that turned out to be about a 8lbs striper we proceded to catch one striper after another. They had moved in and ran the bass off I guess? We managed to scrach up 3 dinks that day off boat docks with worms. droped to 7th place. Not much cover in the lake. Plenty deep and can get rough thats for sure. Others were catching fish on the rocks at the dam there is a big flat on the left looking at the dam. It looked like a parking lot durring the tourney. Have not been back since and am hoping I do not have to. Good Luck.
