You should be able to plug in the remote, though we cant give you the number from memory. It is something like a 96 or 95 number we think. BCB
Just what I needed to know. I thank your wife too! Glynn
CDX-H910UI is the number of the stereo we offer. It comes in the Premium packages with the Sony 100 watt speakers and the USB cable, iPod slot rack for the iTouch, 120 GB iPod and iPhone. Stereo mounting and all included. There is a wireless remote that comes with some of these units, though not all. The hard wired remote is nice if you are using it from the front and it is fully functional. The option on Premium packages also comes with the small seat speakers and the high quality digital music from an iPod through the Sony really makes them PoP! They are not nearly as strong with the base standard stereo. The iPod is controlled by the stereo and not the iPod when plugged into the USB port. It also has a plug in on the rear for MP3 access with the dual male cabling, usually green in color on the ends. VanWho wrote: it rocks. cd, mp3, am/fm. didnt think i would like it but the wife insisted. wife is smart. BCB-can i get the remote after the fact or did i have to get it on original order? I had it on my Sabre and loved it. Just plug in your iPod and you have a juke box for all your songs. So cool. You wont regret this bling at all. Good luck! Flyswatter
Those were an iron on logo, and it should have adhesive on the back of the cat head. The adhesive holds it down, then use a shop towel or similar cloth and iron the decal in place. If he is interested in mounting it? BCB
Thanks Glynn
CHUGGER SPOOK, We deliver those on a trailer and/or 1 ton set up with a boat on top of the truck and one behind. The dealership should have color chips, though we will see what we can do to get a set down there. They all get at least one set and they are a CD sized plexiglass cut out which is colored on one side. BCB
Chugger, heres the easiest way to play with colors, use the basscat.com selector, when you have the chips you can fine tune your “theme”….the colors that look differently in person vs. online are, remington steel (bright silver with a light blue hue),Coral (50% Red flake 50% Orange flake Its insane),the reds are a little brighter and more irradescent in person ( i hate red and they are killer in person on the boat), blueberry is a Dark blue, yet is medium in the way it lays out, Starlight blue is a black gel with blue flake and sporadically placed silver flake, it looks dark from a distance. If I can be any assistance give me a shout and I can email you colors from a photo, better than guessing. Brannon 920-295-2069 “self proclaimed BCB color expert”Your Signature …
Brannon is right about the red colors. My new 09 CougarFTD is red and silver with coral pins. The red in person looks so much better than it does on the “design a boat” section. Hopefully you can get the color chips. I didnt pick out the colors, as my boat was a left over 09. I dont know who ordered it with those colors, but to me, it is awesome. Even if it is “almost” like Sgt93s boat.LOL
The color selector is a good took to help give you and idea of the colors and scheme. There are so many things that influence the display of the colors over the internet to include your computer, the color drivers, processor, etc. Talk with your dealer and/or wait for BCB to send the chips as promised. I have never seen a bad looking Cat so, you really cant go wrong. Also, I got a call from the factory regarding one of my colors and a suggestion was made and accepted that was much appreciated.
Chugger. Trouble picking the ideal color for your Bass Cat? Weve all been there. Depending on your time frame for selection, I would suggest traveling to the Owners Tournament….youll see 500 or 600 color combinations…live and in person. Or, if youre on a fast track and cant wait until May…visit the “weigh in” of some local tournaments in your area where you know there will be some Bass Cats. Take a camera and shoot your favorites.
Also take a look at the owners gallery here on the site as well as baot for sale section. Phils site has a bunch of used Cats listed and he does a great job of listing the color schemes. http://www.impactfishing.com
When I chose the colors of my boat, I looked at various sites to find new/used boats and then found the colors I wanted. I then emailed/Imd the guy who owned the boat and asked specifically what the colors of the boat and went from their. There are a lot of boat pics on Bass Boat Central. I will attach the website for you to go and look. There is a section for Bass Cat Boats and thats where the pics come from. Good luck, its fun by time consuming. http://bbcboards.zeroforum.com/zerothread/215784Last edited by SenkoSeis on February 5th, 2010, 11:07 pm, edited 1 time in total.
