I feel where youre coming from on color selecting. Ive been preparing for the “day” and trying to decide on what colors. Theres endless combinations. Ive been doing like they said – looking at the owners galary. The color selector cant do them justice. Slate looks greenish on line but gray with sparkles in pictures. I try and try not to get too crazy and keep the number of different colors down but it gets to be like a kid in a candy store.Does anyone know of a picture of sand on a hull to look at? Ive seen sand as an accent but not on a hull or cap.
My hull is sand on my puma , dont know if you can see in the pic on my avatar or not
I cant see it. tried saving it as a picture but too small. Any chance you could e-mail a picture? [email protected] if you can.
I will check with the dealer in Gonzales next week sometime and see if the chips have come in yet and I appreciate all the responces from you fellas thanks very much.

Clyde, as you know color is a very personal thing, in my opinion their are 2 ways to build a cat, as far as laying out the colors, typically you have 3 or 4 colors total. Boot (bottom) black, white or grey, depends on your colors up top, I like to have the Cap and Hull insert (lightning bolt) the same color, the trim stripe or pin stripe should either Tie the colors together or Contrast, the Hull (side) and Cap insert matching also, for instance, Black Gel-Boot, Silver-Cap and Hull insert, Malibu blue-Hull and Cap insert, Blue Black-Trim Stripe, now that will be a silver cap and bolt, with black bottom, black gel with sporadic Bright Blue flake, the Blue black pins are the exact blue color used in the malibu blue, ties it all together, Sorry for the long post, also, I could have done the boat Silver Cap and Hull, Malibu Blue Cap insert and Hull insert (both bolts) with Blue Black Pins, depends on when you lay the color out what POPS out to you. I will love to help you, and will NEVER let anyone build a Ugly or Goofy BCB, sometimes you see a boat of any brand, and wonder??? Sincerely, Brannon 920-295-2069
great idea. Im going to the dealer tomorrow to see if chips came in and while im there try to pick out my first cat
Suggest you also give some consideration as to the color of your engine. If you want to truly color match your entire rig, keep the engine color in mind and consider how it may or may not blend in with the colors of your boat.Ive seen some awesome boat color combos that really tie-in well with the cowling graphics, and color of the base motor, be it black, dark blue, or silver.I get a headache just thinking about it!
Go yellow and red. Real men rock the yellow.
going with the black one fish
Thanks BCB for sending the chips, it help me a lot on making my choice of colors .

We dont release Ricks e-mail addy, though they will forward it. He does like dozens a day as it is.
No number have been produced yet on the 250 series an a 300 has not been run. Those first few are about to come through and by first week of August you should have some information on the production boat. There are several with Mercs on the way, though Yamaha opportunities are only Flyswatters and the original prototype that the factory ran with a 250 SHO. Greene Boat & Motor has the original prototype now with a 250 Pro XS and that one is a bit heavy, though we expect numbers on it in the next two weeks. BCB
The numbers flyswatter has reported with a 200 SHO are really impressive. That 200 SHO must be a real hoss, and the hull of the Eyra must be something to perform that way with a 200.
