I just bought a 95 P2 with a 200 XRi and it has a 24 Fury on it….wont get to run it until April! I am thinking 25M Yamaha prop…my buddy has one that I will test out…along with a 27M.
Redngoo wrote:Agreed!. This will be interesting to hear. I personally think battery selection has alot to do with “success” through service of usage through the years. No different in cars, trucks, or boat or even parts. It all in wat ones had good luck with. Though Ive always run interstate wet cells srm 29 for all with extremely good success. I did opt for a optima blue top for my crankr this go around. Mainly to test my success with it….. all 3 were SRM27s?? 2 for trolling, 1 for cranking? I sell Interstate, and might make a decision like this in the upcoming season….
Yes, thank you, Im aware and will be careful as such!!!

To seal the floor we suggest you use resin and set the screws in resin through the carpeting. We use a large syringe to achieve injecting the resin.Thank you for your reply BCB. I just want to be clear, my floor is solid. So would I need the slide/base plate? How do you drill carpet? I was thinking a razor slice, then drill on the slice…
Old Classic wrote:You dont have to drill into the floor to mount your hot foot. Use a peace of metal ( as wide or a little more then the hot foot) with a 90 degree bend (at least 6 inch long) ( I used 1/4 polished SS) Bolt through the front console, into the rod box. You may have to make the 90 bend at a slight angle, so the hot foot can be placed at a angle. Mine has been this way for a number of yrs, with out any problemsThanks, this is a great idea! I will wait to see what BCB replies to my questions.
Thank you BCB. I will do this on the weekend and post pics.Much appreciated.
Thanks! So I assume that I need to just pluck out that black pin bushing and insert the correct one? I will look for a 3 prong plug and just put an accessory port (cig lighter thingy) on that….forgot to check to make sure I had voltage at each one.And btw….why 3 wire??
Thanks scubaman, thats a plastic bushing…I think I will just ream it like you say. The transducer seems to be missing that screw or bolt, so I will put one in there.
02JagCat, good point, I will inspect closer.Thanks
well, just google the install instructions of the transducer….its to snap down….so I will have to take a closer look later on. Didnt seem to snap down. Thanks for pointing that out 02JagCat.
I believe thats a Teleflex gauge….anyone got one for sale?!
No green? Bummer, I am gonna do four 1 strips in my boat…lol! And if my g/f wants to dance, awesome!
