    Great info! I have one on order right now and chose the white nose. What colors are the rest of your boat?

    dbasketman does your Caracal nose come up while running? I just had mine out today and it seems to just kind of plow through water compared to my old boat no matter the trim angle. I have a fury 25P for a prop. I just wonder if that the way it feels or do I need to play with adjustments?

    Dealer is another state away, I am just very let down right now. These things should not happen and I should have taken it out before handing over the $. Not really looking forward to a ten hour drive to drop off something for “repair” that hasnt even been used yet. Very disheartening.

    It has a 25P Fury. There is a long bolt going down through the jackplate that is loose and I can turn it by hand?

    Steering simply doesnt work, thats not simple to me.

    There is nothing in it, me and ten gallons of fuel and this is in no way hydraulic steering at any speed or any load. I have contacted the dealer but am in no way pleased about the boat I bought that I cant use. This was a huge purchase for me and I have spent my last hour away invested in looking, ordering and picking up a boat that does not operate as it should in that many trips.

    I just went and measured My Caracal with a Mercury 225 and motor down, prop to just past the open tongue is 2110″.

    I verified the 2110″with a tape and I have the 225 XS.

    The Facebook page also shows completed boats and lists the colors on a build sheet which is helpful to see the actual colors. https://www.facebook.com/BassCatBoatsbySerialNumber/
