Ok thanks………… Did not know anything about the t-clips so good info. Keeping the boat dry is pretty important to me so that is also good info.Appreciate the help guys.
Congrats on the new boat Mike! Get in touch with me if you decide to come fish the Columbia around the Tri Cities. It is Looking like it might be an early spring.
Those are some awfully low numbers for the Delta. One good day could change a lot of things on that fishery.
Pictures are kind of small, I will post some better ones when I get to see it.
Do you have the Yamaha digital gauges? if so how the heck to you find your water pressure? Havent figured out how to pull it up on mine.
Ok well thats what I found on my gauge just a less/more indication. That will work just thought I missed something. Have fun with your new boat!
Thanks Bill, It is the Bass Cat Reverse light, ordered the trailer with it, just got missed on the initial build and had to have them send it to me to install.
On top of the rear cross member?
Nice! thanks Phil that was nice of you to show me the picture, it helps.Aaron
I have the same opinion of the Yam 27 T1 prop on my Puma FTD SHO set up. I put a 27 Tempest Plus on the other day but it was too windy to get any top end numbers, but the hole shot was better with a noticable lower bow lift on the hole shot. I will also be trying a 26 fury after I spin this tempest a couple more times. I am very impressed with the way the boat rides in the big water on the Columbia River. We get lots of 3 + rollers and the Puma takes em like a champ!
I was about to ask the same thing Jignpig. I didnt see any specific type of grease to use in the owners manual. How often do you grease them too?
I have the exact same problem and question. It is really the only negative I have for my new Puma FTD. What kind of boxes is the dude using where they look like they fit so nice?
I suspect I need a bigger battery. My 3 Trolling motor batteries are 31s per my request to my dealer. I didnt specify I wanted all 4 to be 31s.The Cranking battery I have in there is a 24 i think? its dinky for sure compared to the others.I thought it strange though it hasnt happened before. Heat have anything to do with it?Oh and to answer Kramer I used a trolling motor battery to get it to start. Then I ran the big motor for 30 minutes with the cranker hooked back up to charge it enough to start me back up when needed. I just fished with the master switch off for the last 3 days. Will the voltage readout on my humminbird be sufficient? If I remember right it was 12 something.
Thanks for the help guys, I will bring the Cables my next outing for sure.Hope the battery being too small is the issue, thats an easy fix.
My lights dont turn on with the ignition or the running lights (I am assuming you mean the Nav lights?)The only way they come on is if I push a button on the gauges and they stay on for about 10 seconds and turn off.The Jack plate gauge lights up with the ignition or master switch one though (cant remember).I also tried to hook up my gauges to my humminbird GPS (with the labled “to hum black gps, and to hum white gps wires from your factory) so it would show the MPH and other features but it does not work. Any suggestions?
