Wiring is were I have trouble.I got the hole drilled already. Im going to try to find the trim wires tomorrow so hopefully I will have it for the weekend.

Man it makes it a lot easier when you have someone that knows what they are doing.Got the trim hooked up and ready to go.One problem was trying to follow the instructions that came with the trim.They say connect red to red,blue to blue,and green to green.But for anyone going to install the trim the red goes to a purple and the rest are the same.

Well you are probably right but I took the picture with the truck today. Here in Louisiana we are having snow and rain mix and I was chicken and didnt even go but probably would have smoked them today.I did go yesterday and got some more time behind the wheel and cant get over how this boat handles.My dad was with me and he loved the boat all he could talk about was how comfortable the seats were compared to my last boat.But I figured before the big front hit they would turn on but I was wrong only managed 4 but they were all 3-4 lbs. but still a good day on the lake.

I was on Caddo Lake on the Texas side.Yea almost all of our lakes are down at least 2-3 feet.

Bamacat it definitely sounds like you have something wrong.I have seen where some guys with your motor run close to 70 MPH.I would think the 25 pitch prop would be ok on your boat.I am 270 lb. And my buddy is 230 so it wasnt a light load by any means.Maybe someone can help you on setting it up.

I went and filled them up they were very low.Took more then 64 oz. of distilled water.

My girlfriends uncle doesnt run anything but etech.He helped work on the Lower unit problem and claims they have since fixed it.I have rode in his boat and to me it was a very quiet motor and seem pretty strong.I run mercury but I think if I ran across a etch for a good deal I would purchase it without a worry.

It is a standard sabre.Does anyone have pics of the flipping deck?Also can you still use your ice chest when it is installed?Its ok smbass it happens to the best of us.
