What makes it not fit with the ulterra? Just asking for future possibly. Ive added a second console to my 2017 Puma and my cover still fits.

To make a Bass Cat run dry, ride like it does and perform in both rough water as well as on top end, these aspects have to be built in. Thanks. Makes sense and Im sure I speak for many BCB owners when I say thank you for doing so many of the little things like this that we have no idea of that allow us to enjoy our boats even more.

Dwayne wrote:How close does the trolling motor come to the roller when you load and unload the boat? Seen some that have gotten hung up on that trolling motor when they unload because the bracket sticks out so far.Just finished install Sunday afternoon so havent launched it yet, but the bracket can be slid back very quickly and easily. It goes back 6″ and you can see in the 3rd picture (I think) that in the back position it is even with the rub rail so I dont expect any problem. I probably couldve squeezed another 1/2″ back out of the mounting position, but I have right at 1 1/4″ clearance from shaft to rub rail when tm is in down position. I think MK suggest 1.5″ clearance.

I asked the same question about 5 weeks ago. Here is BCBs response01 Oct 2017 12:34 #3 It is Offsetting propeller oscillation. It requires you to trim to get things leveled on the hull pressures. To make a Bass Cat run dry, ride like it does and perform in both rough water as well as on top end, these aspects have to be built in.

I love my Puma and its layout. It took me a couple of trips to get everything organized that made sense for me, but now I have more storage than I can use and it is very convenient, organized and efficient while fishing – literally have several empty compartments. I like the fact that Bass Cat gives us the option of the 2. The top decks really arent that much different though. I picked the Puma because that was the deal sitting in front of me not because of the layout. I would like to hear some feedback on why some of you like the Cougar floorplan different. Correct me if I am wrong, but arent the back deck, 2 rod lockers and center compartment the same. If so, that only leaves the small cooler, day box and the front compartments as the differences. Does the Cougar have a net storage upfront?

Brich70 wrote:Nice boat. What are you looking for in a trade Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk From a boat perspective, I am wide open. It will be somewhat temporary so I can fish out of anything for now. My only 2 issues are 1) I need to walk away from trade with at least $25,000 so that puts the value of trade-in probably 30k or less and even willing to trade for 90s model as long as other party can come up with the difference. I would consider another 5k if it was the right boat. and 2) my price is very very fair – quite possibly the cheapest 2017 Puma FTD Ive seen anywhere and its got all the extras and in excellent condition so the trade has to be fair. Im not in a bind and have plan B and C if necessary so we have to be fair to each other.

I have watching boards for a long time to upgrade and while not exactly what I have been looking for pretty good. Any interest in 05 to make a deal.Actually a mid 2000 Puma or Cougar would be exactly what I am looking for from a boat and trade price. Call or text me at 281-731-2679 and lets talk about it.
