You should be fine as far as the boxes they are about 10 in. x 20 in. that should be plenty if not the center box will hold those few things with ease. The grab pole Im not sure about though. My boat doesnt have one as mine is an 06.

Another thing that I have found that works pretty well is the Magic Eraser for hard spots it will also work wonders on the hull as well. If you get some black scuff marks from roller etc. the Magic Eraser will take those right off. The Scrubbing Bubbles is also excellent. Good Luck, Robbie

There have been several that have tried them not sure but I think they have been on the Cougar and the Puma. The best that I can remember they are seeing better results from Fury, holeshot and topend by about 2 or 3 mph. Phil A. I know tried one and think was impressed with the numbers he put up. There will be several that will post on this topic. Overall the numbers are from everyone that I been hearing from. My only concern is getting it worked on repaired. Might want to check or someone may already know that answer. One more thing I believe that PA runs a Trophy 26. Good Luck! Robbie

The numbers you posted are pretty accurate to most. There are a few faster and there are a few slower as with most models. Mine runs out @ 69.7 with two and a touny load, I an 06 with a 26 Trophy and am at 5500 rpms. With just me and light gear the best I have seen is 72.9 that was with water temps in the low to mid 70s. I thought about trying 24 or 25 Fury prop to see what the numbers would look like, but I do know mine does not like the 26 Tempest. It didnt seem to matter I did to jack plate or load it just was not good for me so I swapped to the Trophy and loved it. The four blades handles the rough better, heavy loads, tight turns, and was just all around better for me. I too put most of the tackle in the back compartments to put less bow weight, that seemed to help a fair amount as well. Sorry to be long winded but I know what you are going through. Good Luck and Tight Lines! Robbie

I believe it is a 15×8 you can go up or change rim size you would need to know the lug pattern I am not sure exactly what it is. The other thing you will need to consider is the bigger the rim the more a set of tires is going to cost you. plus you will have to run a low profile tire as well, road hazard then becomes a factor also pot holes, curbs, boat ramps, ect. so may want to think about those as well. I like the new tire and wheel packages that they offer but here in Alabama alot of county roads to boat ramps and they arent exactly trailer friendly.

Well that is one of them, but there is a little more to it than that Im sure you know. Do you need more information than that? If so I can elaborate a little bit. There are specifics if you know what I mean. My point was that the fish are bitting and it should be a good tournament.

I would buy a magic eraser dont get the generic as they dont work. Scrub it then use Bass Boat Saver liberally every time you take it out of the water and it should prevent it from being such trouble. Bass Cat also has a good product similar to the Bass Boat Saver as well. Others may have better advice as the boot on mine is black but it works great on my white cap.

Espn has really gotten sorry with coverage of the classic the past few years. They may want to consider another company Fox Sports or Versus.

I am not positive but I believe that it will be on Lay Lake again but there has been some buzz that Logan maybe the destination will try to find out for sure soon and post if someone doesnt post first. They would both be great but would like to see one at Lake Guntersville that would be a great one as well. They could probably still have the weigh in at the Civic center if that is what they want the driving time from Lay isnt much shorter it is still about an hour either way maybe closer to an hour and a half to Guntersvill depending on the launch site. They are exciting you get to meet some great people and the environment is great. I am stoked that they will be coming back to Birmingham it is always a great crowd and even better show with all of the events that are there. There are also alot of Cat owners in the neighborhood here, so maybe there can be a meeting there as well.

Yeah for no more weight that was caught that was a great Classic. I wasnt there but heard that the turn outs were great and the event was well run. That was a little disappointing that the fish were so small but that just shows that they are human and dont always get the big one that everyone expects them to catch. I think it was good to bring them to reality.

Just wondering was that the Bay Cat that Airport Marine had? It looks identical to it if not, that was a awesome rig. There was a pic somewhere of Ken driving it in BWB I think.

My left rear did the same thing the hole was a tad to large and silicone will fix it. I lost one on the way home from a Tourny bought a new one and the thing kept falling out so I thought it had a bad grommet and to it back to swap it and the other one did the same thing so I just siliconed it in no more problems. Yeah, you cant beat that little sponge, it will cut time, money, and aggravation out of your cleaning. They too will save you money on waxes that require more work with little or no results. It will make your seats look new again they sometimes require a little bit more elbow grease. The boot on my boat is black it keeps it looking new as they look good but it is kinda like black vehicles beautiful when clean but hard to keep them that way. Glad to hear another success story with the eraser, everybody should give them a try.

The PIV does like the jack plate low and another thing that will help your performance numbers is putting most of the load in the rear of the boat keeping the front light. This will allow more bow lift there for giving you more speed and overall performance. I am running a 26 Trophy at about and 1/8 in from flush on the plates, I am turning about 5600 RPMs and with 2 and a tourny load almost getting 70 mph consistently. The best I have seen speed wise was 73.4 gps by myself and a light load of tackle and about half tank of fuel. I have run a 26 Tempest and the numbers were not near as good as the Trophy. The four blades carry the load of the PIV much better in my opion than the 3 blade but have not tried the Fury yet but hopefully I will soon and they say that you need to go down one pitch size in the Fury than what you are currently running. I hope this helps sorry to be long winded, oh and mine is an 06 PIV with a 06 Opti. Good Luck, Robbie
