Yes its set exactly like the picture. Also the hopping is worse on smooth water.
Not the original owner bought it about 3-4 months ago. It did have afew chips on the bottom i had repaired but nothing major and it was hopping before the repairs. Other than the hopping i love the boat. It does nott have the hydrfoil fin.
Rick V, When u say a 1/2″ above factory do you mean a 1/2″ above flush also hows your hole shot and top end with the 26 compared to the 25
I have the cabelas guidewear. Keeps you dry but i havent got to wear it in cold weather yet. My only complaint is the first jacket i had the inner sleeve came unsewed the forst time i wore it. Returned to cabelas and got a new one so far so good. I would have bought the 100mph suit because of the liner but the guidewear was on sale at the time
Did you use self tapping screws on the jackplate install?
So the transducer saver mount actually bolts to the slide plates and not the jackplate itself. Does this affect raising and lowering the jackplate?
I used this one on mine
The boat runs great at WOT 72 with tourney load. Its the fast cruising speed thats giving me fits.
Thanks for the replies. Straybullet and Gerald sent you both emails looking foward to hearing from you.
http://Ccfish.basscatowners.yuku.com/ph … id/2675150Used a piece of carbon fiber and put a basscat sticker on it to cover some holes from a ram mount. Not as big of an area as yours but its an option.
Face off where do you have the jackplate set at? Im getting the same top end as you but I have a lope or hop in the mid-range around 63-68 mph that I cant figure out. The only thing on my boat different from a lot of other p2s is I have a 101 mk fortrex and 4 batteries.
Not for sale anymore. Decided to keep it for now.
Was looking at stainless steel kit on the internet at work was just trying to verify the tubing size before ordering. Wont ask anymore questions. Thanks for the replies.
Aluminum battery trays will fit the optima group 31s. Have four of them in my P2 and a 4 bank minn Kota charger. 2 batteries on both sides and the charger sits across the middle behind the pumps. Also have the oil tank in there too. The charger straddling the bilge area towards the back frees up a lot of room.
Go with the fortrex. Had a maxxum on my last boat. Screws, bolts, and pins always worked themselves loose usually had to tighten them up on the water at least once a trip. Had the fortrex for 2 years now and no issues. The 36v is a beast and the lift assist is nice too. Put one of those steel cable pull ropes on it, just one less thing to worry about while your fishing.
