The main lake tricky spots are peckerwood point/black forest area on the south/west side of lake. You also have the Black Forest on the other side of lake. The canyons area has ALOT of standing timber to watch out for. Up the rivers you have standing timber to watch out for also. There is a boat lanes chip being produced. Go to boatlanes.com. I have it and the fork chip and love both

Buddy did this on his last boat. Never gave him a lick of trouble. But that boat only had a 115 also. So cant for sure say how good would be with a 150 and bigger

You dont really push thru walking. You prevent it by making small left turn corrections of the steering wheel before it actually happens. With seat time you will get a feel for it and it will become second nature. All wAlking truly is, is your boat dropping off pad to one side or the other. 99% time to the right. Ive never dealt with it on a basscat but I have on other boat brands. There is some good videos to watch on YouTube also.

Yeah it is tricky when your not used to it. You have to catch it right at the start or its not going to help at all. Keep trying practice makes perfect. And above all if it gets out of control do not chop the throttle and cause the bow to dip. Trim down or gradually slow down.

Im choosing the p4 when Im ready to buy a boat again in abut a year. Good luck finding one used also. Ive been looking for abut 6 months and have seen two that I can remember. Neither were within 500 miles of me down here near houston, texas. I priced one new the way I wanted it and can easily get a 2 year old LOADED puma for the cost but Im still leaning towards the p4. That boat just fits ME best and where I fish at.
