Is the boat still available?
Thanks for the pictures, now I can see where it sits. Leaning towards keeping it since dealer will not give me a credit to have it removed. (Which makes no sense). But, a lot on order makes no sense since I’m not getting credit for using low range graphs instead of hummingbird that come standard. Checking with another dealer on how to properly order the Basscat then I’ll decide. But thanks since now I understand where kicker tank is. I did notice Pantera classic does not come with kicker tank.
Thanks for explaining. I will ask dealer if I can order a base model P2 if that’s possble.
Oh so if you get Lowrance graphs they send the hummingbirds loose?
Thanks everyone for your feedback and I am sure this question will help others as well as some shopping for a P2.
Well the problem sorted itself out and I was able to find a nice Pantera Classic for sale – I know the differences pros and cons and may order a P2 or Caracal in a few years. But, feeling blessed that I will have the chance to get a new Bass Cat and wanted to jump on the opportunity since supply is low across the country and preferred not to wait for the order (i.e. Spring fishing is possible now as a boater).
One thing I really enjoy is reading about Bass Cats on this forum and Facebook (unofficial pages). ALL dealers I have spoken with for Bass Cat have been amazing as well. I will be traveling to get my boat and even the local dealer told me they would be glad to help me with any future questions. Now, this is how business is handled! I worked with three Bass Cat dealers and all three have been really great.
Thanks again and my conclusion if ordering a P2 is get the extra tank – I think its beneficial and cons are not too concerning with plenty of space as needed in the boat.
Does anyone know what comes with a new boat when you buy it? Or do you have to buy this as an accessory at the dealer?
If anyone has purchased a motor support for a Pantera Classic (with 3″ trailer) – what length do you need to have this work? There are multiple lengths available. I got one adjustable to 31″:
Extreme Max but worried it will not work when I pick up my boat later this month.
Anyone out there who uses a traditional transom save know the length needed for lower unit to comfortably clear the ground?
BCB has the attwood unit on their website which is adjustable to 36″.
Let me know if you can help before I make an unneeded return.
Really nice boat – love the trailer and colors. Wish I saw this about 2 weeks ago! Great price with these options on such a young boat, it should sell fast. I have something similar lined-up but will keep this in mind as a backup for sure! Good luck.
Good luck with everything, in an inflationary economy this is just amazing to me. Some of us picked a bad time to upgrade or buy a boat. Just wondering where all the new customers are coming from, just amazing!
The strap I found is rated for 7,000 lbs – I guess I will use that until I find chain that is shorter. Thanks for advice.
Wow – sorry you went through this. Hope the other driver was OK. Thanks for the tips on this and I will definitely keep the straps in good shape. This is my 5th bass boat, but first that didn’t include the safety strap. I have one on order again from Pacific Trailer that I think will work. Thanks and again glad you made it through that, could have been really worse. take care.

Nice – I like how this is setup. I was also thinking of placing some marine carpet on the bottom.
Thanks for all the suggestions – I will post pics once I have mine setup for others to see as well. Need to get some new cases first!
Same happened to me unfortunately. I was shopping for a P2 and came across a Classic that looked nice. I assumed wrongly it had the same livewell. BCB this is a ridiculous design and a flaw that should be fixed for future owners. Who wants their water to enter into their boat from the livewell???
