As one third of H2O, let me say that we would have loved to have had 5-6 Bass Cat Boats in the show. I appreciate how BCB answered the post. I can tell you also, that I thank them for having the crystal ball to realize just where this market is, in particular where our market is. H2O has seven employees that we try to keep on the floor at the dealership as full time employees, in short we have seven families directly effected by what we sale and how we go about paying our bills. BCB has been with us from before we opened the doors, and for that we are so grateful for what they have done for us and how they continue to support us through the good times and the bad times. To own and operate a boat dealership has been extremely difficult for the past four to five years. Last year we had a pretty good year, frankly due to our tin boat sales. We were the largest Lowe dealer in the United States. We would love to be the largest BCB dealership in the country, but the local market does not support that. We want all of your busines, your friends business your wives business, and your childrens business. We want our competitiors business for service and we hope that the BCB family who read this board will push service toward our service department. We need your business and business from those whom you know. Give us the chance to earn your business. We have no idea what 2013 will hold as far as the economy goes, frankly, I do not beleive it will be a good as 2012, I hope Im wrong! Those who know me personally know that Im a glass is halve full person. I am proud to say that we at least had current product at the show, not old stuff for you to look at again. We have one dealer demo that is a 2012, my Bass Cat, that is for sale, I do not believe we have any other outdated product. For this Im happy, because we are not paying interest on a floor plan, as those at the show who had several of last years and before models. That expense will close your doors in a hurry. This is what BCB was saying when they answered this post.Any boat dealership that has survived the last few years, I say congratulations. It takes support from our boat companies like BCB to be able to say, we survived!! Again, thanks BCB, thanks to our customers and I hope I see and hear from all of you during 2013!!J Hall
Basketman, I have not seen that kitchen pass signed yet!!!!!!!!
Take it to a dealer. May be money well spent!!!
Ask for Herb Skyles, he will be more than happy to talk about a Sabre, we just delivered one from stock in the last couple of weeks.
I would suggest you call Bass Cat Boats, at 1-870-481-5135. Ask for Rick, tell them who you are and what you want and you want to buy one of their boats but you need a tall person question answered. I bet you will hear from Rick Pierce, may have to call you back, but I bet you talk to him.
I have a 2015 Puma FTD, dealer demo if you are interested.
John, the one that goes by Clownshoes is the one that has this info locked up between his ears. I would even agree to buy lunch for the two of you just to listen to this again. Clownshoes got so far over my head so fast that I might learn something by hearing it again.Jeff
The generation that fought this war is and was and most likely will be the greatest generation this country will ever know. The Dads, Moms, and Grandparents during WWII were not selfish, gave up all they had for us to be allowed to live the life we live today. This stays with me everyday, my dad spend two years in Europe, my mom worked in a factory for the war.I will share this, years ago, I was playing golf at Turnberry Scotland, my wife and I, my caddie who showed us the runway used in WWII by the Germans first then the Americans. As we were playing that particular golf hole, he looked at me, and said, “I loved to caddie for Americans, I love for you to come over here, because if it were not for you, I would be speaking German!” He was so sincere my wife cried. If you know a WWII veteran, your lucky, go hug him and say thanks. So many of those young men at that time gave all they had to give. Home alive in forty five was my dad and his buddies saying, I heard it many times before his death. He made it home, December 31, 1945, at 11:30PM after walking from the train station to where Sherwood/Sylvan Hills area is now.
Only matters if you have a good tech in your area for either, they are gonna break.
Interesting post from a nephew of my wifes yesterday about her brother who played at OU, from SE Arkansas, mid sixties.Bo as we call him was recruited to Arkansas by Barry Switzer and Frank Broyles to come to the UofA, Bo went to OU. His son ran into Frank Broyles and his wife a few years back, introduced himself and ask Coach Broyles if he remembered recruiting his dad. Coach Broyles cited the details and said, not many people ever realized your dads name was Sammy, but was called Bo, almost fifty years ago.
This is a good spot for the event. Many Bass Cat owners in this area that could bring some nice bags to the scales. Lake has been down the past few years, but has had a nice come back, as all lakes do. For those of you, in particular south of the Arkansas River in Arkansas elect not to fish, you might find your self missing out on a nice trip to Mountain Home later in the fall. Big plus, this time of year it should be beginning to show some signs of fall. I know not the reason to go, but it is what it is.
AS a dealer, not sure I understand the statement, “Dealers can rotate that within their needs and thus we can not pin down dates that accurately this far out.” Our supply has always been dependent upon supply and demand also. Perhaps BCB can clarify that statement.
Okay, this is my world. I would assume by reading your post that you are dealing with the insurance company of the other vehicle who knock the bottom off your boat?? IF so, they have the responsibility to put you back the way you were. See what the NADA book says, show them that, be fair with the condition of your boat, stick to your guns. Inquire with your agent and see what she or he says. It is not a game, this is real world, and you stay to your opinion. Tell the adjuster you are to be put back to the same position you were before his insured hit you. Tell him to go and find you a replacement boat, motor and trailer, like kind and quality with the amount of money he is offering. I am different, I love this stuff.
It is not your insurance companies responsibility to make you whole. The other insurance company is responsible. You need to contact them, if there is any! Your carrier will pay you market value less your deductible. The person who hit, their insurance, is first dollar, no deductible. That is where you need to spend your time, at this stage. if no insurance exist, then you get to deal with your carrier and you do not have as much leverage. You do not have to have an attorney. Find out and contact the other carrier.
