Does your current prop have vent plugs? If so try removing one at a time and try it. My experience with props is you will loose about 2-3 MPH with one size smaller prop and gain rpms…IE 23p to a 21p. You should gain just about 200rpm with the smaller prop. What is his rpm @ wot. It should be around 5700. You dont want to go too small and over rev the engine.Last edited by Mainecat on August 25th, 2010, 3:18 am, edited 1 time in total.
Ya you really need to pack those bad boys by hand, once you get the knack it only takes a few minutes and you know that their well greased.
Welcome to the Cat Family!!!
Sorry to hear of that txpuma, Im a law enforcement officer in Maine and you should really report it to the Police, thatll be the only way to be sure and get the insurance information or make sure you get the fender paid for. Anything over $1000 in Maine has to be reported, not sure how it works there.
I have a 94 PII that I would let go for $10,000. Then I would up grade. I fish Tourneys with it runs flawless 200hp Merc EFI with a new power. Its a great set up. I live in Maine.
I sent you an email and I would be interested in both if I can make it to VT.
That would be your security system. I cant give you specifics on the wiring but that lets you know when your friends are trying to check out your HOT baits….
Congrads to Bass Cat the top notch bass boat company that other companies are chasing. Bass Cat is second to nobody. I’m proud to be in the cat family!!!
My guess is the motor that turns the prop is gone. Everything else works fine momentary switch, on off, Auto Pilot light comes on, but goes out after about 30 sec. That stinks cause we were on our way to a good day we still finished 10th wiithout the motor.
Plus it depends on where your float is and how high its mounted, your float might be located above your pump. I always pump mine out manually and when its finished I put it back on auto.
Not hard at all, I have recently done both of mine. Just a little time pulling the staples out, pull the skin off until you get to the very front of the seat, run your hand along the bottom of the round foam to free it from the seat bottom, replace the same way with the new skin. They look super nice too.
One more thing, tell your buddy to scratch your kitty on your way by…. Bass Cat ownership is second to nobody as you will soon see.
