Another dumb question. What batteries come with the boat ?
No stupid questions are possible in those situations. Haha….not to be insulting, but you dont know me.Trust me. Never bought a new boat before and its a little intimidating.Trying to figure out the colors has been a nightmare. That color selector definitely helps, but I know that it doesnt do the actual boat justice. Not blowing smoke up anyones rear, but Ive been visiting this site for awhile and have known for the last few years that it would either be another Ranger or a Basscat or Triton…..The last year Ive not really considered anything over than the Cat. For me the main considerations were quality, customer service and then performance…I would say Basscat fills the bill quite nicely from what ive heard and read. MuddDukk

If you are missing a bunch of fish give this bait a try. it is smaller / more compact but yet the weight is there for the same casting performance. also the way the wire is bent and the length of the wire really helps out with short strikes. my favorite bait in the Mini is the TJ Special. ——-> http://soblures.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=73 I gotta second this…The TJ Special is great. The mini-me line is great all around. The height of that hole is what I was worried about.I may just let a dealer install it.Any idea what the adapter plate costs ?And dealer installation cost ? Thanks. MudDukk
Its cracked on the side running bottom to top.Its not the big deal I thought it was.I thought I was losing fluid from it.Instead it was from the hose THAT WASNT TIGHT ON THE ELBOW !!! Im learning alot lately. I can only find sae30 locally and bobs uses 20w.Would it be a great detriment to use the 30 ? Thanks for all the help.
Yeah,Poop happens sometimes.Im just really anxious over not being able to get out in this new boat and start the real education……Lookin forward to my first trip. In the end all of this is minor stuff and it will all work out.I didnt think the 30 would make a gigantic difference as I live in La. Thanks for all the help.Last edited by MudDukk on December 21st, 2008, 7:56 pm, edited 1 time in total.
tread stick on pice………ehhhhhh,what ?
Ok Phil this is what I meant.Crank battery was hooked up to bank 1.Banks 2,3,4 are the TM batteries.2,3,4 go to green within 2minutes.I switched the leads up to TM 1,3,4 and the lights go green as before and now bank two is RED.Ill let it charge for awhile and see if I see green, but I got to believe the battery is no good.Going on 18 hours. Cranking motor off at my house is not an option as I cant find my muffs…Think the dog got to them.Flark !!! The crank battery is warm to the touch and the TM batts are cool as a cucumber. So my thinking(not a strong point of mine I realize) says the charger is trying to charge the battery but it aint gonna happen.
Thats what I figured.I think someone got into my voodoo dolls and is using them on me.DERN !!! Reckon my dealer will send me a check for a new battery since they are in your neck of the woods and its already been back once and looks like to me they dropped the ball again.
He didnt install the battery. It came in from out of state, but regardless,if you buy a boat as new and pay taxes and have to put up with all the hassle of getting it registered and blah, blah, blah the boat should come with good batteries. Thanks for your help Phil
