27″ Trophy prop is sold!Thanks!
If you are looking at a crew cab, you might want to look at the new toyota tundra DC (Double Cab). Plenty of room for three car seats in back and a LATCH system for three. Lots of airbags and stability control also. My wife really likes the seating position and the telescopic sterring wheel. The 5.7 L v-8 is very quick, yet good on fuel with the 6speed auto. I average over 16mpg and on a trip not towing get almost 19 with a 4wd double cab. When I tow my 20 foot Basscat mileage is about 14 which is 40% better than my last truck. They are offering 2K rebates right now. It can also double as a great work truck with a bed liner or spary-on liner. Assembled in Texas. I have been chevyfan all of my life, but with the toyota, I dont have to see the service guys!
There is a menu function on the x-125 to accept temp, under the screen display function on the X-125. However, if the unit is always reading 32 degrees the problem is likely that there is no temp probe installed on the X-125. I believe that on the boats that come with the X-125 the temp probe is not standard equipment. The two temp probes on the transom are likely for the console LCR and the 1440 flasher. From my experience, the easiest way to get front temp is to replace the trollong motor transducer with one that has the temp probe built into it. I beileve that lowrance als selld a separate adapter y-cable that plugs into sonar plug on unit and the existng transducer and an accessory tempprobe plugs into the Y also. That probe can be put on the trolling motor.
Either Starlight or Blueberry looks great with pewter. Red pins are great too. See webite for http://www.bensbrookcovemarine for pictures of in-stock Puma in pewter.
I have used Trojan batteries on my last threeboata with absolutely no trouble. Great capacity, recharge quick and they do not LEAK into the boat-even in rough water. Go for the best series they make the SCX 200 or SCX225-I use the SCX225 and they fit great in the aluminum battery trays.

After removing the numbers you can remove the remining glue residue with a quick wipe of acetone. Works like a charm. If you are putting new numbers on, go to a print shop/sign shop and they can do your new numbers on a vinyl transfer in a few styles and colors. With all the numbers and letters on one sheet, the spacing is perfect. You can also pick a letter styling, but dont get so fancy as to prevent the authorites to see them easily. I usually put mine below the rub rail.

I am in NY also, well east of there. I have fished a couple of tournaments on Seneca lake and was not impressed. The lake is very deep and does not have very good weedbeds. The primary species is smallmouth and they can be very hard to find. Nothing at all like Oneida Lake which is very shallow, has good weeds and a lot of fish. (A great lake, but subject to a lot of pressure these days.). Cayuga is a much better choice to fish then Seneca!!
What type of boxes are you using in the front compartment of the Puma? Thanks!
While I have never seen locking pins for the pivot tongue, you can take the pins to your local locksmith and have hole drilled in each one to allow a small padlock shank to go through. Dont try this yourself, the pins are hardened, and unless you have superior drill bits. you will just break the bits.
I had this Basscat ladder on my last Puma and it looked great and functioned extremely well. Many of my fishing partners commented that the design was such that it did not impede their fishing off the back deck at all. When I did my usual morning safety talk with them, most of them had even failed to notice it was there until I pointed it out. I used a very small lightweight 99cent bungee on it to make sure that it never came down in severe waves. Go for It-You will love it1
Classic with150 opti would great choice for your applicaition.Ihave a buddy with that setup and he loves it. without the extra weight of the 200 the boat sits very level and is easy to plane in shallow water.just get the center seat and the deck extension and you will love it!
Is there a consensus as to which method is best for polishing rims before applying Sharkhyde protectant?
