Thanks guys!!! I know I am an amateur on posting. pics to follow just got the garage cleaned out and….it fits!! Johnson 150 hp Silver Star Series Fast Strike, Lowrance HDS5 Lake Insight on the console and a Garmin 400c on the deck. Extended Flipping deck. Minn Kota Maxxum 74, Single axle trailer. All digital gauges. Already see a bunch of upgrades on the Bass Cat sight…this is going to be an obsession!
awesome thanks for the feedback. I am assuming they are getting back up shallow so just hit the little pockets in the coves to start correct? I must have caught a million catfish and crappie off the dock, but now want to get into some bass.
what am i looking for? it looks like it is working, and I have power when I troll. the trolling motor is 24 volts
I am looking at the owners manual. this is not right. glad i did not charge for a long time or this would have been bad. so my next question is can i charge the batteries separate even though they are in series?
thanks for the help. I hooked it up correctly and it looks like it is working now. How hard is it to install a new 3 bank or should I just let the professional do that? also what brand (also the general idea of price for the unit recommended)Last edited by TMAC2 on July 10th, 2010, 3:10 am, edited 1 time in total.
1993 Pantera II. so it looks like both of mine may be too big.
awesome man, thanks for the reply. Totally makes sense since it did not happen when I first launched the boat, only after I had been fishing in the Houston heat for a couple of hours. I was hoping it was just one of those things and nothing major. ok, so the 4 blade 24 shoude be good, wonder if I can get anything for my 26 raker.Last edited by TMAC2 on July 13th, 2010, 7:55 pm, edited 1 time in total.
thanks guys and great map. Randy, Ill holler at you when I get a free weekend.
Heading out Friday, I am assuming top water is good in the morning and evening. Correct? what else is in there? grass beds, rock, brush or just nothing but sand? I am bringing a buddy who has nothing and want to make sure he buys for the condition. I have a little of everything but not a lot of duplicate. (still bulking up on tackle)
Alright Ozarks fishing is in the bag. I was fishing in 1.5 foot of water most of the time and then found little creek past all the shallows that dropped to around 5 ft. We fished forever then I tried a Plumb 10″ worm, Texas rig. Started dragging it over all the uprooted trees and nailed them, slow presentation and they couldnt resist. Not a lot of size, but man was there a bunch of fish!!! Think I messed up my transponder on the trolling motor, but I think I can fix it. I got a good opportunity to put my boat through the ringer and could not believe how well it did.
Remember I just got this stuff in the last year…have to pace myself so I can stay married. I thought this out, when I have more rods than spots, time for a new boat. Either way, 12 is way more than I need right now. Only have 5 total reels (that are not antiques). Now just to make my Christmas list…
Rod holder can be removed and required no damage to the interior carpet.Last edited by TMAC2 on September 28th, 2012, 4:11 pm, edited 3 times in total.
Got a Pantera that is garage kept and nice. make me an offer.http://basscatowners.yuku…le-8000-obo#.UCRinO2XNSU
They are full length golf tubes. I bound them together so they would not rattle, but not attached to anything. the friction of the carpet holds everything tight. No slipping or movement at all and since the tubes are full length, no broken rod tips or eyes.
