Hope you put Bertha back into the lake especially if she was slightly under 24″ that fits the slot for the lake. I am glad you had a great time and on this lake you never know on any given cast what you might catch, last month a lady caught a 13lb. 4 oz. bass off a dock. I was there for the holiday my biggest catch was an 8lb. z. and only caught about 10 fish as the wind was miserable at times but my neighbor nailed a 10lb. 4 oz. & a 9lb. 7oz. bass while crappie fishing, go figure! Found south side of lake dingy and North side pretty clear. There was a question about stumps, there are a ton of stumps and you really need to be on your guard but the fishing is worth the trouble.

Judd, believe me I am just like you as I dont enjoy having trouble while fishing I just want to enjoy myself and try and catch a fish or two. In this instant I felt compelled to run this boater down because he was acting and driving crazy and I was afraid he would really hurt someone. We had an adult conversation and to make a long story short we resolved the problem, in fact he told me he had two bad experiences himself that day, Go Figure! I guess the bigger the tournament gets the more problems we have. I know the promoters of the affair want everyone to have a good and safe time but people do crazy things. I bet we all have some horror stories we can share. My friend knows one of the promoters real well and he is going to suggest that maybe the officials have a mandatory seminar that each contestant attend and go over safe boating and to display good sportsmanship while on the lake. I understand you may live near me , I live in Rockwall and would like to wet a line with you sometime..

IKE is a perfect person to sponser as he gets more air time on TV than most other fishermen and what better way to get your product seen! There are alot of other pros trying to immitate his enthusiam on TV, now most of them carry on when they catch a fish!!! Hes a good guy, had a chance to talk to him at the Toyota Tornament on Lake Fork, 2 Jersey guys, many years apart that fished many of the same lakes in N.J.

Lance Vick is a guide on lake Fork and has spend numerous hours developing this chip to help new and old boaters have a good and safe expierence on Lake Fork. I have no personal expierence using the chip but I can tell you I have expierenced a number of stump thuds learning my way around the lake and it would have been helpful I would think to have a map guide like this in the begining. The boat lanes a pretty well marked but I have found as the lake gets lower you have to use more caution as I have thumped a stump or two that I normally dont hit using the same lane, so the best advice is to idle into fishing areas off the marked lanes and you will be just fine!

Speed definitely kills, especially when not handled properly! This tragedy could have been worse, at least 2 people were able to walk away, especially the pregnant young lady.

Tried a Fury 26P on my 2007 Puma with the Mercury 250 Pro XS and with 2 people 32 gallons of fuel and tackle we ran in the Mid 70s, this was on a slick lake, very little chop. Hole shot was good but mid range was awesome, I really think youll like it.

I was in my office at home, my wife called me into our living room to see what was happening on TV. I always remember 9/11 as my wife and I were married on that date 25 years ago.

My Dad served in WW1, he was in the 77th. division out of New York City, it was called the lost battalion . A movie was made of the battle at the Argon Forrest in Germany, it starred Rick Schroeder. My brothers in served in WW11 one was Army the other a Marine. My brother Nick was killed in action. I missed Vietnam but I always appreciated and respected any person who served our country in the armed forces weather they saw action or not they were there to defend our freedom. I make sure my children never for get what our family sacrificed and to honor our veterans both past and present. It is a privilege to be an American! GOD bless all our troops.
