i own a 07 Puma, my son is about to buy an Eyra. it sounds like he is making the right choice. Thank you all for your input. it looks like there will be a new cat in the family soon!

i have had trouble with 07 Puma since it was Brand new. the compartment lights all work off a ground wire attached to ea compartment lid/hinge. check all the wires that are attached to the hinge (Ground wire) I have to go through all mine once a year to keep them working.

I own an 07 Puma, my son has a 2011 Eyra. 2 complete different hulls, but my Puma is more stable with 2 fishing from the boat. Yes the Eyra drives and rides better than my Puma, but it should. I like the deck storage in my Puma better. But i like the the way you sit down in the Eyra. and yes the bow is more narrow than the Puma…I could go on and on. you will have to decide what you really want and what you can live without. I know if i was buying a new one I would have to drive the new Puma FTD to see how the ride and drive compare to the Eyra. One thing i definetly could tell about the the Eyra is how much lighter the front end felt. I kinda liked it! anyway…Good Luck! You cant go wrong!As far as props go..My son is running a 27 p Fury. it is bad fast!
