I got lazy and emailed the guy i got it from. He said the wires were all still there that the 24 volt one wen tout on him a few year ago and he had the 12 volt one laying around so he put it on. Then he went on to tell me the livewells didnt work and they had something to do with the wiring. SO ill get in there and dig around and see whats going on Thanks Guys for your help, Im sure ill have another question or two

If you want a fairly simply one the Lowrance 520c is really nice one and easy to operate. It has the fish finder as well as the gps and lake maps on it. Really nice buy too

Honestly i was mainly curious because at 5000 RPM it was about 50 mph, does a few more hundred rpm(5500-5800) make that big of diffrence

This is so sad but its happening everywhere. WHY doesnt everyone just pull their rod/reels/electronics out of the boat at night. This would solve this problem completely.

Yeah Ike obviously had the “BEAT DOWN” figured out today. Betcha it was a swim bait. Sure wished i knew his observer today, hehe The word is when he landed the fish he had both hands on it and started puking over the side of the boat from screaming so much. im sure it is true, hehe Hope the BassCat boys continue on kicking that tail

I fished a Tourney on Amistad this past week. We arrived Saturday to 30 mph winds and 3 ft waves. My partner had a Basscat Puma which handled like a dream. I could tell he had plenty of practice in these situations. Monday was even worse and once again the boat handled these 2-3 footers with ease. I own a smaller Basscat Caracal and hadnt driven much in these type of waves but he offered both days to let me drive back to the dock.Needless to say at first i was so excited yet once in the middle of it all i was intimidated a little. BUT with this Basscat, it sure made it easy. he talked me thru the entire process of driving in rough water which made it easier. Im sure he was a nervous wreck since he wasnt driving but the BASSCAT ruled the waves with ease. We barely even got wet at all. I rode in a Skeeter Tuesday and was totally soaked. Some of it was the driver, some of it was the boat. I sure wanted back in the Basscat ill tell ya. Ill post a few pics PS NOTICE THE DRY DECK EVEN Last edited by TxTradman on March 31st, 2009, 2:47 am, edited 1 time in total.

You are correct, these particular pics are less than 3 footers, But we had JUST COME across the main lake and they were believe me 3 to 4 footers. i did not have the camera out at that time as i was more focused on staying alive and for sure not getting the camera wet. EITHER WAY, the BASSCAT proved itself GREATLY

My trolling motor has a built in transducer in it. i know many people dont care for that. But i got tired of breaking them off and to be honest. Mine picks up the arcs VERY WELL on my lowrance 520 up fromt

Loows AWESOME dude, Did you just run the wires thru the rod locker boxes? If you did…is there any concern for getting cut or lures hanging on them?

OK i started out with a 25 pitch but it had NO HOLE SHOT and i mean NONE, NERN, ZERO took forever, thats why i went down to a 23, Could this be from the motor being low? Compression on all cylinders us 110-120, EXCEPT #3 is 95 IS water pump/impeller same thing if so, its brand new! Heat gauge dont work, ill price one today So this thing ill be ok with one(1)open water inlet hole on the bottom? if so ill get some plugs today Thank you guys so much for yoiur patience
