Any other suggetions? I am having the same issue and I do not see a pool of fuel anwhere, just the smell of gas in the Garage.
With Open Arms we welcome you to the BassCat Family, best darn boats afloat and the nicest owners you could meat.
Now maybe you can talk to the Pierces about genXing the Cat line of boats while staying economical and highly durable. I mean so durable some dude cant break a petty lil light bar HAR!
Welcome Mike, I admire what you have done for the next generation of fishermen and for just being yourself.

Thank you that is exactly the information I needed, I appreciate the help. How do you like that 80lb on there? I have a 56 right now, came when I boat my new to me boat. I always felt it was underpowered, especially for wind and tidal current. Thanks!
My boat is underpowered in the engine and I dont want to add the wieght of an extra battery in the back. So I figured I will get the biggest 24volt that I can. Anything would be better then the 56 I have, it just doesnt cut it on the days when the wind and the current or working in concert.
My buddy installed his GPS puck on the top side of his TM arm – I will take a pic the next time I see him on Jan3rd. It is tight, when he is on the TM the puck is only 7″ from his ducer and when it stows the puck is facing down toward the deck, but not touching. VERY CLEAN!
I placed my GPS unit on the back by the vent. I placed the ducer as a through the hull directly in front of the old ducer. If you dont have a unit you are upgrading from then you will need to bring power from the cranking battery. I would run shielded 14gauge wire from the battery to the source, I tied mine in between the console and the gunal on the right hand side, drilled a hole to bring the cables up through. Fishing the power source and transducer cable can be a PIA, and was the toughest part of the job
Thank you BCB – unfortunatly my Win this year was out of my buddies boat as I hit a bad obstruction and Grenaded my LU. But the BassCat is back into action for this weekend and the TOC. So quest application is on its way!
I will try pete again – here are some pictures of the area
Really looking forward to a West Coast Owners Event, too bad the whole family cant make it out to the Delta in August, it will be a punch and frog fest of epic proportions! I know that Russos Marine is the host marine and do a heck of a job for all of us, they also fill up FAST so another option is right around the corner at Sugar Barge http://www.sugarbarge.com/marina.html they are in the same Slough as Russos and have a limited number of overnight covered berths. It would be great to pull 100 boats for this event.Ash
