I fished out of a pathfinder bay boat for years that didnt have carpet..Carpet just seems to stain up and is very hard to clean and wears out, finished out fiberglass inner shells are easier to clean, and stays looking better for much longer?? It is also very cool in the summer time.

Okay I am about to purchase a sabre with a 150 efi on it…What is the ideal prop for top end, a 3 blade or 4 blade..I always though the 24 inch 3 blade tempest would be best for top end, but it sounds like from this post that the 4 blade might be the best bet?????

Thanks for the response. You have given me some great ideas. I think I will start with the 24 Tempest and go from there.Just wondering about the Fury prop though. On the Mercury website they only recommend that prop for outboards at the 200 hp and above.? Is there any reason for this??

The 3M liquid wax is very good and cheap. Can be found at any Academy or WalMart for less than 10 bucks.
