I hope you and all the folks at BCB have a fun and safe holiday. Well try to behave while you are gone………….. I would also like to add my appreciation to all our men and women in uniform. This is without a doubt the greatest country in the world! And they are the biggest reason why.

Probably not this color………………… I guess its a good thing I dont plan on selling anytime soon………….. I would think a red boat would sell well. I see a LOT of red boats around.
I also liked the fact that several times during his term, he took a Bass Cat and toured the Arkansas River from Fort Smith to Dumas. Just meeting folks and talking about things that concerned them. I think his biggest “failing” as a politician is that he says what he really thinks, and stands behind what he says. Not a whole lot of room for honesty in politics these days….. Gov. Huckabee is “regular folks”. He understands what the average Joe faces every day. Hes the kind of guy you would go fishing or hunting with. I remember when he and the first lady moved into a mobile home when the Governors place was being remodeled. It made national news and was a scandalous affair. Most of us average Joes thought it wasnt any big deal. Just showed that our governor wasnt a snob. Id vote for him again if given the chance. Oh, yeah………….of course he would run a Bass Cat……………
Well…….now I dont feel so bad……….we went to SWEPCO last Friday and managed to catch two fish. That is the worst showing Ive had there. We saw no bass chasing baitfish or otherwise feeding. I am wondering what is going on in the lake. Last year at this time we did really well. Maybe it will turn around. I really enjoy fishing it when cold weather has set in.
Robin, None of the boats Ive owned came from the factory with a fire extinguisher. Ive always bought and installed my own. Some dealers might add them before delivery. You can find good, inexpensive extinguishers from any hardware store or Wal-Mart, etc.
Samrush, I think what BCB is getting at is the folks they invited are not registered Bass Cat owners. It will be cool for BCB to get international exposure! This was probably the best-run tournament I have fished. This was my first OI, and I was really impressed by the way it was handled. Ive fished 15 boat club tourneys that didnt go as smooth. I will definately be back!
