i would go with thw efi. yes its a old school engine, but it has proved that it is a strong runner. its a it bit heaver on fuel, but cheper on oil, efi will use priume plus oil. and a opti will have to use dfi old watch is way more money,plust u never hear about that guys blowing up efi and the xr6 engines,

u want the top of the ball at about 19 to 20 inches off the ground. it works good for me, and u need a 2 inch ball

hey guys with the 52 inch shafs. does it pull up high anuf when in real shallow water. so it doesnt hit bottom

its a great lake for smallies. like imanshoww said he top end is better for the large mouth, the bottom end is better, big body of water when it blows up it can be nasty, ive see it at 6 foot plus waves.

my rooster tail is about , a foot higher then my cowling, at full trim and i found it runs best there

i have a 07 sabre with a 42 on it and ive fish some ruff stuff with it, and never had the prop jumb out at all with me, if anyting i want to shorten it, when shallow i get get it to come up anuff it like to bottom out even with the higest setting
