I bet one or more of the fuel hoses under the cowling split open. I had something similar on my 96 150 EFI.

That was my first sign of a problem with the fuel line breaking down on my 150 EFI. I changed out the fuel line and new pump bulb to fix it.

I changed the charger out on mine a few years ago. I mounted it under the lid on the passenger side of the boat. My original charger was mounted where mphenry described.

I had a similar problem a few years ago with interference. I was able to run a 16 gauge ground wire to the bottom of the trolling motor pedal.

Ive carried a small 2 ton floor jack in a boat compartment for years in case of flats. Its especialy handy on single axle trailers since there wont be much room under the axle on a flat. For a tandem axle trailer, you can just take the one tire/wheel off and throw it in the back of the truck to get home if you dont have a spare. Hope this helps.

Unless you are just set on the idea of a rod holder in the rod box, you can get rod sleeves for each of your rods. Ive been doing that for years and have 12 rod/reel combos in one rod box. I can reach in and pull out any single rod without them getting tangled. Ive been using these for 15 years and back then, my wife made them for me. Now the one call a Stick Jacket is very popular. Just a thought.
