Flyswatter, I did get it from Brech great guys to deal with too but i find the F150 to be verry impressive. i have a merc on my triton and there may be a small difference in hole shot but not much. i will never go back to 2 stroke after having this. onice i get her dialed in i will share some numbers.
i have the 09 sabre with the 09 f150 yamaha. i am a big guy and i carry alot of gear. it is very strong. i am still tinkering with the setup but i can run in the low 60s with two guys and a full load, the kicker is the fuel effeciency.
i love the way that looks but if you dont have red in your in your boat it would be an option really. how would a domed decal look there?
i have an 09 sabre ftd with the f150 and people are crazy about it. i have had three cash money offers on it but i love it too. low to mid 60s and great fuel economy.
hole shot is realy good actually i am very pleased the prop is the current yahama recommended prop for this engine i will have to look to be sure and ideas on getting a little more out of it would be appreciated
6″ plate
scott at brech marine set it up on the boat for me. he would be glad to fix you up great guys to deal with there.
I have had Lowrance on every boat i have ever owned. I recently switched, reluctantly to humminbird and have been pleasently suprised. Customer service is unmatched in electronics and for the money and technology i personally dont think you can compare the humminbird and lowrance units.
i am a small tackle dealer as well as a basscat owner. I actually have 2 of the code reels. in my opinion it is a lot of reel at the price point it is sold at. i use them mainly for fishing spinner baits and have been very satisfied. very smooth reel for the money. both of mine are nearing 2 years old and i have had no problems. hope this helps.
fished tournament on eufaula last weekend i had 18.75 fishing cat tails and grass with a spinnerbait from the causeway to the north river mouth. water was a little stained. i found some fish the week before on the lower end of the lake in some better water but by the end of last week they had moved up. i agree the cold front may put a little kink in the plan but i would try grass either flipping or spinner bait.
i agree my credit union shreaded everyones rates.
also has tandem axle trailer with brakes. step and pole
