Thanks for the Support from Scott that it sounded like a grounding issue. Guess what it was. I had made a simple mistake that one of the brackets from the volt meter was grounded and accidently touched the purple (power wire) that caused a ground. Fixed that and all is good. BCB thanks so much for the simple fix. You guys are TOP NOTCH. Regards, Brian

Highway, I have a 96 PII with a 150 Merc on it and really what you see is what you get. No need for a manual. Everything is easy to see and repair/replace when the time comes. The BP100 dash was converted recently with the upgrade dash which in my opinion is a small amount of money well spent and very easy for someone who can change there oil to do. BCB send its almost to plug and play. Just a suggestion for later on if you have a failure on your dash. Happy Boating

I have a 1996 Pantera 2 with flippin Deck, Minn Kota Digital Trolling Motor with U2 sonar, Digital Drive (just installed) Lowrance 28HD 30Gig with SD Slots for maps on console and Eagle fishfinder on bow. Use this boat average every other week on the lake. I upgraded the older LCD guage cluster to the new update cluster by bass cat. Boat is White with the Red flake Z on boat. Single Axle trailer. Carpet is grey. Boat is clean runs 58-62 mph. Stainless steel 4 blade Trophy 23 prop. I am looking to buy a 2004 Pantera from a friend of mine. If interested please email me at ][email protected] or call 336-302-4820 on my cell. Regards, Brian

$10900.00 Its a small price to pay for such a work of art I also needed to mention that it has a keel guard on it as well. Its a great boat and I have enjoyed it. The story behind this boat that it was originally purchased and the gentleman passed on to meet our lord and savior. Well the boat sat in storage for almost 7 years and then a family member got the boat and started using it. After 3 years of use it was traded on a Triton (his loss) and then I bought it. For a boat that has a few years on it, you would never know it. So for 7 years she sat idle waiting to go out and be used again. I upgraded everything on the boat when I purchased it. The only reason I am selling it is because my friend is letting go of his 04 classic with a 200 optimax on it. If he sells his before I get sale mine I will be keeping it because its just to good of a boat to let go. Thanks for looking and if you have any further questions let me know. Regards, Brian

Billfish I just recently did the same thing to my 1996 and what you will need to do is cut the old wire harness and tie in the new LEDs according to the color of the wire. I used the heat shrink terminals to keep moisture out of the connection for a long life of the connection. What you are describing is what you will probably have to do. You can probably go to any local gas station that changes oil and they will be able to perform this for you for probably 20 dollars. Good Luck Brian

I have a 135 opti on my Hydra-Sports and a 150 EFI on my Cat and from my experience I have loved the EFI hands down. All I do is….Prime & Start early in the morning and shes good to go. I want to update during the winter since I will be offshore fishing and its cheaper than bass fishing so the money I will save will allow me to do a little upgrade. Thanks for all the positive input and look foward to more. Regards, Brian

Derek, I spoke with Jamie and right now the only thing they have is a 94 200 EFI which everything is right however being in the equipment business, Once they stop making a particular model it becomes difficult to find parts so I will call them from time to time to see if a 2000 range year model comes in. GREAT PEOPLE. Jamie was the most professional guy that I have talked with so far. Tells you the truth, not what you want to hear to make a sale. I admire that so for who ever reads this. Call Jamie or Danny at Gwinns boat repair (they are a dealer for basscat). Friendly folks A+. Regards, Brian

Benpyron, I have been working with a manufacture making a product just for what you are looking for. I am in the chemical business and have 3 boats and very picky on what I use on them. I have a new sample of a product that is in development that will be at my facility next week. This product has been long time in the making. The product uses no Butoxyethanol or Potassium Hydroxide which is what you see in other cleaners. This product has lifting properties and will lift the dirt out of the material instead of attacking the dirt and doing harm to your seats. If you would like email me your address and when I get it in, I will ship you some to try (no cost to you). I would love your feedback. I have already used it on my offshore boat that sits out and I was very happy with the results. Regards, Brian

Fish, I installed my retro last year with the supplied guages and I have had NO issues or problems. It was a perfect fit. I had to drill holes for the 4 guage cluster on the left of steering which took some time but when it was all said and done, It was not hard and looks great. BCB helped me with a couple of questions I had. I like it much better than the 101 dash. Good luck and you will be perfectly fine with what is supplied. Regards, Brian

I was giving it a shot to find one. I have found one used for 725.00 plus shipping or new for 800. With things this tough in the economy I was hoping to find a scratch and dent or a used. Its not something I have to have but would like. I love my PII and I know it will add so much to my partner. Again thanks BCB! You guys are the best. Congrats on all the compliments yall get and the awards for being loved by so many! Thanks, Brian

I wanted to tell you to do the upgrade. I have a 96 also and it will take you about 2 hours to do it “yourself” and its nice and clean and very reliable. I am sure you got a good deal in the boat and you will be very happy with that boat. Spend the extra money and get the entire package. the wire harness is “plug and play” easy. Oh by the way did I tell you it was easy. Here is the big kicker. If you need help call BCB direct and there A+ customer service will help you. You made a good choice in boats. Good Luck
