I have the same boat and set up (Thanks Phil!) and i am getting more comfortable with it every time I go out. The best advice Phil gave me is put in “seat time”.

turn key off and then select the other tank and turn key back on and it will give you an instant reading of fuel level in other tank. At least that works on my boat.

On the Second Issue – Your blow out might be from having your motor to high also…

I bought the Boatlane combo for Fork/Sam/Bend a couple of weeks ago. I have only got to use it on Sam and it seems to be a great product. Well worth the $50 imo. Cant speak on the Fork or Bend waypoints yet but from the folks i have talked to everyone is giving it the thumbs up! Buck

I had one on my old boat. I liked it. Only issue I ever had was inside the switch the contact plate came loose from the rivet. I was able to get it back on and it worked for a few more months but eventually had to replace it. Im guessing I was putting too much weight on it.

I would go with the fuel line breaking down from ethanol first. I have 3 friends that have had similar issues and it was fuel lines.

Check out the Texas Fishing Forum – it seems like every other post is about Fork. Lots of good info there but carry a salt shaker with you…

On the MG Tour TM the bracket to hold the shaft is offset towards the left so when you store your TM with the prop towards the left it supports the motor better.
