150 ho vs. 150 magnum, ho has more power through diff. programming, and of course the lower restriction lower unit design(BULLET), 200reg vs. 200ho- 2.6liter on regular model vs. 3.3 liter on HO model more torque and horsepower and has the bullet lower unit with diff gears, 225reg vs 225HO-same block size just different EMM (computer), bullet lower unit and the hp of the 250 model, 248hp at the prop, and then now the new 3.4liter 250 ho 274hp, 300 torque, and the 300hp 3.4liter, only 25-30inch shaft….oh and the HOs have cool stars and stripes decals, which look very cool, 2008 IS GONNA TURN SOME HEADS BOTH IN PERFORMANCE BOATING AND THE EVER COMPETITIVE BASS CIRUITSYour Signature …

Sir definitely shop around and price out 200hp outboards, I would shop all brands of motors, everyone makes a great motor, doesnt matter if its Yamaha, Evinrude, or Mercury, right now the big 3 brands are all going after the fastest and most efficient brand out, it depends on who you talk to and what brand they are loyal too. Obviously if you go to Yammie or Etec you will have new controls and such, but you might want to look at controls anyways. If I were you call mercury with your serial and model #, on some of those 200s back then their was an issue with a soft crank shaft, a buddy of mine just got a complete new dressed powerhead for 100% free, plus install, if you have any questions on that please email or call me, I will help as much as possible…….work-920-787-5873 cell-920-295-2069 email-worner_brannon@yahoo.com Hope this helps you, BrannonYour Signature …

Hi Skipjack, It sounds like you should try and Demo a 2008 Sabre FTD, we have sold several and everytime when given the “TRUE” facts these consumers picked the Evinnrude 150 High Output E-TEC, they wanted a very quiet motor, a very easy to maintain motor, very informative motor, no break in, very easy on oil and gasoline, no smoke,no smoke,no smoke, and no dealer scheduled maintenance, now, the Mercury faithful which I also have sold for a number of years will tell you on the 225 HO some boaters had issues with 1 of the cylinders leaning out and malfunctioning, others will tell you that after “jacking” the E-TEC up on the transom and running it like Bass Fisherman do, they would self destruct, what they wont let you know is BRP who owns E-TEC had a new fully dressed 3.3liter 225ho at their dealer on the average of 2 days, or a fully dressed L1 lower unit in 2 days, We have not had 1 problem with our 225 ho E-TECs but BRP is constantly evoloving their product, thus for 2008 they added more oiling points and a different CPU program, also added different internals that are far superior to the competitions, and designed a new gear case for their new 250 HO and for the highly used 225 HO, the coolest thing is on factual data it has been printed that so far out of the Merc Optimax, OMC F.I.C.H.T., and the Yamaha HPDI and Newer DFI Evinrude ETEC that the ETEC had the least problems as in # of motors vs.# with huge issues……..I do not get paid buy the manufacturers that I sell, however I for 6 years have made people very happy with both the Evinrude ETEC and Mercury Optimax, however I hear more comments about the ETEC, probably because it is so shocking easy for the buyer, and so clean and quiet, yet very torquey and powerful, its been proven on the tournament trail….call me or email me anytime I can give you some ideas, for free of course, Brannon cell-920-295-2069 email-worner_brannon@yahoo.comYour Signature …

Sir if you would like some real #s technical and performance I would be glad to help. Our factory demo and a couple of our pro guys all have the 250 ho and it is incredible. That motor has taken even the TOUGHEST doubters and set them back in theie BCB seat! One of our guys drives on the edge and he has embarrased ALOT of boats and motors, so let me know how you use it, pedal to the metal or put put……Brannon cell-920-295-2069 or 920-787-5873 [email protected] Signature …

Judd is your memory foggy??? Remember ALL OF THAT H.O. POWER at the dealer meeting??/ Who there was telling Rick that “I can only get the boats to 70mph”….???? And Ricks reply, “remind me not to ride with you guys…”””” Dude im just playin around, just the PRO XS guys need to realize they do not have the most powerful motor out, its a simple as that…..It will just take some embarassing moments for some to realize…….We have the luxury up here in the place that builds them,WISCONSIN, to get the dirt on both brands……BCB really put out the showing of those (blowing up, lower unit grenading, and oh yeah, junk E-tecs, wonder why??) IF we couldnt screw with eachother it would be very boring, have a good one Judd and next year Im riding with you………BrannonYour Signature …

so misr how are those “WISCONSIN COLORS”doin? I met the owner of the marina that you bought from, Scott, what a class act, I would honestly drive 5 hours out of my way to stop and say hi to Scott, he is awesome…..Funny thing about Halls is the boat has not been touched since I had it here at the dealer, I believe it is flush? His Raker 2 has been tweaked by some rocks, but once you guys learn to drive it it will go faster, I honestly believe what Ivan told me at the show, 70mph may be able to be accomplished with the 150HO, I think in order to do that you need the hottest prop, which means testing and money, the right driving characteristics, BALLS,and of course the right water conditions, maybe im wrong, but 68 should be attainable……Im just happy that the INFO that I have spreading around, and yes misr as you know some guys didnt like it, thats why Im BANNED from bbc…..but guess what, I beleive what I tell people and most of the times it is coming from a good source or first hand knowledge……Kind of like when I posted that our Pro guy, got 83.1 out of his Cougar ftd, 250 ho combo, all the Merc guys said NO WAY, then the proof was posted……..Speed is an expensive addiction…..Im gonna ask BCB about the Fury, correct pitch on the 150HO “monster”…Im glad that we all stick together and that some of you have had the nerve to put either a Yammie or E-TEC on the back of their BCB, different is good….you can call me day or night with info and for “@+$% shooting”……..920-295-2069 Sicerely, OH MISR, HOW MUCH WOULD YOU LIKE THE MOTOR IM WORKIN ON????????? 175 H.O. E-TEC, 200HP 2.6LITER WITH THE LIGHTNING LOWER UNIT, IF THE 150 HO IS THAT CLOSE THE 175HO WILL WAX THE COMPETITION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY THOUGHTS BUDDYYour Signature …
