Thanks again, sounds like a better design than having to replace a burnt fuse.

Unfortunately, Im down in South LA, (Thibodaux), but if your down this way, please contact me so you can see her in person, and poss. get out on the water. I have been very impressed, with the Eyra layout, just need to get more seat time in her, shes only 3 days old to me.

That makes sense with the networking, guess I didnt realize how much of an issue that causes. Maybe the electronic companies need to do some more homework, so there would be fewer issues. Thanks for the reply, and I will check the settings on the bow unit.

Gives just about all the engine data you could want. Simply toggle through the screens. You can keep up to 3 things on the screen that you would like to monitor at one time and toggle to others that are set up. Fairly easy to use, but def. enough data for me.Hope that helps. See the manual on this website for all the details.

This was not very smart on my part. The unit is the HDS 5x which I learned is sonar only ( no built in antenna) , didnt realize this when I posted. So , I guess no GPS fo me on the bow. Thanks anyway.

BTS uses wording that makes it sound like a sealant, but I guess its not truly a sealant. Not saying its not good, just slightly misleading. Think I am going to try ProTec . I always use BBS as a wipedown, and its worked great for years, but its a cleaner/UV protection, much like BTS seems to be.Thanks guys

10-4, these idiots (lobbyists) are getting rich, politicians getting kick backs, and the average guy getting SCREWED!! Every small engine and outboard suffer with ethanol blended fuel, our cars do as well with gas mileage.Hope we can get this country turned around. Not looking so good though

Thanks guys. BCB, I agree approx. $900 is a pretty good chunk of change on batteries, but, if you spend an extra $100 per battery over maybe something not so big, and have to replace it sooner, then is it a wash anyway. These are pretty much guaranteed for 3 years or replaced ( if you get a bad one). What TM batteries does BCB recommend, just curious ? Thanks.
