I have a 1996 Mariner EFI, no smart craft. I saw the hoses on the block, it was still peeing out of the telltale. but there has to be a block somewhere on the LW. Its cold out there today my water hose is frozen so I will check it again when warms up. Oh yeah I did let all the water out of LW before temps dipped last night..

Thats funny you guys want to take yours out, Im waiting til spring to get me one (bed fishing) I took a hook to the shin because I didnt have one in the boat. Me and my 13yr fishing partner were up front together and he reached back to cast and caught me instead of a fish, to top it off it was my brand new LC waketail (18.00) sitting in my leg for my first tx out of my cat.

My 95 Sabre is the same color of that ftd, now I want those 20s too, It really sparkles big time in the sun.

IMHO I wouldnt want to add a 3rd battery because of the weight it would add to the boat. The 80lb MK would be enough I think. Then again Im not trolling for miles upriver against the wind either. Good Luck

Im running a 25 tempest no plugs. I see 63-65 all the time(now that I can drive it)..You should be running at least a 25p. Need to play with it, you could be trimming it to much. 1 bump on the trim up and you could lose an 1mph. So dont over trim it. Check your plugs too..

My twin tanks both say 22 gals. on the original sticker. Dont over fill it though or gas will expand and come out of the vents in the back trailering the boat on the road.

And I may not add it to the boat. I always wanted to keep the boat original as possible. I feel better now knowing that Im not alone. I wish I had it a few times though. With my luck prolly would add it and it would be crooked.

I like to use SuperLube. Started using it for the fishing reels and then noticed on the back that it can be used as dielectric grease too. I love it it stays on for a long time to. I use it on spark plug boots too.

If you would of seen mine you wouldnt worry so much. Now with knowing what I know now, you prolly could clean up the ones that are on the trailer now, prime and paint. I thought mine were rusted through but they werent. Im going to an bolt on bracket so I can replace them as needed and not mess with an welder. It is/was what I could afford. The next boat I get will get attention to those brackets sooner than later because its a pain what Im going through now.
