Very interested in this discussion. I just picked up a 2011 with a 250 Pro XS, a Bobs Hyd Plate and a 26p Fury. Looks like I may have to pick up a spare prop in 25p Fury for the Summer. I dont want to steal this mans thread but anyone running a 4 blade?
Im in Springfield, VA about 2 hours south of you on a good traffic day. Id be interested in running that 27xs or purchase if you are looking to sell it.
Im no expert but I would try a 25P Bravo. As far as XS vs FS, Im not sure that it matters other than you may need to get the extra set of PVS holes put in to work the holeshot on either one of those. Best thing to do is pick one up and run it for awhile to see if it performs where you want it to and then send it off to a good prop man for adjustments if needed.
Dont want to derail your question but had the same thought on the differences between the 4 blade Fury, a Bravo and a Razor 4XL. There is a ton of info on the Bravo but nothing about the Fury 4 or the Razor 4XL
Even with carpet I back down the ramp, unhook the strap and launch, tie up boat, come back to the truck and park. When I take the boat out, I hook the strap before I pull the boat out. Its an easy thing to do for some piece of mind.
I installed my own as well. The manual/setup guide that shouldve come with the poles if they are new will have the answers to your issues about one retracting slower and the sensitivity (stopping before retracted or pump continuing to run). Its an easy process, just need to follow the steps. If you dont have that, download it off the PP website. Got any pics of the bilge area where you mounted the pumps?
