Thanks for the responses guys. I agree with your assumptions especially since I would lookto upgrade the electronics and trolling motor with high end replacements. I agree that it would be hard to get my money back and I wouldnt be happy with a used boat long term. Im going to be patient for another year or two and buy a new boat – Margay or Sabre. Its hard to go without a boat, but it will be worth it when I finally pull the trigger.

BCB, other than the HP rating, what are the major differences between the Vision and Advantage packages?

Shimano Calais or Core with a St. Croix medium heavy fast action Mojo Bass rod. I can cast a weightless Yamamoto Senko across the lake with minimal effort.

Thanks for the info guys! Is is it necessary to have hydraulic steering with a 150 HP motor or will dual cable steering be efficient??

I also had the opportunity to visit the Suffern Sports show and got a close look at both the Lynx and Pantera Classic. BCB did an amazing job with both designs. The workmanship and attention to detail is clearly evident.

I was fortunate to see the Pantera Classic and the Lynx at a fishing show in Suffern, NY in Feb – BCB has done an amazing job with both designs. I would also really like to get a closer look at the Margay platform. I sent a note to the Ike Foundation to see if they know the whereabouts of the Margay BCB mentions. I’ll share any information if I hear back.

Do these dual stack mounts provide great support in rough water? Do you find yourself having to tighten them often throughout the day??
