Thanks for the info!
Im definitly sticking w/ Basscat! I just dont know whether it will be a Puma or Cougar. I would like a 21 footer, but it wont fit in garage. I may wait till fall and sell my boat myself so there will be less out of pocket expense.
Is there any warranty left and does Basscat build a modular console which can be added at later date?

If there is a fuse holder involved (talking about the little tubular glass fuse), pull the fuse and push the terminals out of the fuse holders. get a piece of scotch brite or sandpaper and clean them. They will probably have a dull look to them when you pull them out. When finished they will be shiny. This just happened to me on my Lowrance x27.
It has been my experience when multiple electrical items are not working it is usually associated with a corroded or bad connection. Most of the time it has been the inline breaker coming off the battery. If yours has one, disconnect and clean. Also check for a loose or corroded wire at battery. I dont have a Puma, but with that many items not working it has to be associated with a main wire that these non working items are tapped off of. The connection does not have to look bad to not work properly. Electrical gremlins can sometimes be a pain to locate.
Im extremely jealous of the locators and the fish. Congradulations on your purchase!
On my 04 Classic it was orange and about 3 ft long. It was coiled up in with the rest of the wires.

dmoore58,I bought my rub rail kit about a month ago and rivets were supplied. I was able to use existing rivet holes. I believe the rivots require a #10 for new holes. I drilled rivets out with a # 12 drill bit. I ran tape around boat above rub rail and marked existing holes after old rail was off. I believe there were only 2 holes I could not reuse. Most of the rivets were spaced 4 inches apart except in corners, which were spaced 1-2 inches apart. Since there were a few extra rivets I added extras where my old rub rail was working loose. I laid my new rail out in the sun for about 20 minutes before install. It sure helped loosen it up. When I did corners I heated the rail with a heat gun (this really helped make it more flexible). One person can certainly do it, but an extra person would be nice. My neighbor helped me get started. We installed the front part on one side first with a couple of rivets. Then we stretched it as much as possible and riveted the back side. Then I just worked towards the front. Repeated process for the other side, then did the back corners.
Will take a couple tomorrow
I have no idea what web browser I have. How would I find out? I will try to find the image tab. Thanks for the replys
Im jealous! Ive been stuck working out in 100+ degree heat. Thankfully, this coming Thurs and Friday night I will be fishing. Havent been in about 3 weeks and its killing me. Glad you had a good time.
Please email any more pics you have to [email protected]. Also, how much warranty is left on motor? Engine hours?
Rick has my vote, but not with Saben. Might ought to consider Bob Stoops. Or, how bout Linda Colt. She single handedly ran the service dept at Lowrance.
