Hey thanks for the diagram, I think it will be very helpful. I will look it over and give it a stab after i get some sleep, been up all night working and keeping the streets safe. BCB, do i need to do a master reset or do i need to go to the menu page and select the reset option? Allan

I have tried to reset the unit each time out. The only thing I havent tried is moving the ground directly to the battery. Again, I would like to thank everyone for thier advice, help, or input.

the top end speed is down a bit, but only a couple mph. the first time tis happened i was the only person in the boat. talk to my local marice service center and was told it may be a CDM going out.

Hey guys, thanks for all the help. I checked the wiring in the bow of the boat and found the main positive wire was broken at the butt splice. To prevent future problems I removed all the spices and soldered the wires together and sealed the connections with heat shrink tubing. I also added an inline fuse before closing back up.Thanks again to BCB and everyone who replied.Allan

JSLAW, after reading your post, it is more like you described. There is about 1-1.5 inches of playing the wheel before the motor begins to turn. I will check out the link you provided and check to see if the wheel is tight. I do have the steering wheel with the tilt helm. Thanks for the replies, Ill let you know what I find out.
