Just ordered my first Bass Cat a Puma FTD with 250 Mercury XS. Which prop a 26 or 27 Fury. I fish Missouri Lakes so need to deal with upper 80 degree water temps. Thanks Joe Riley

Hi Gary, Yes I have completed the 120 minute break in but it should be still adding additional oil until 20 hours as I understand.

Thanks Bass Cat, As usual I was about180 degrees off!! Sounds like I need to lower the motor a little, Iwill try that this weekend.

Been out a couple of times and love it!! Still working on the setup. The hardest thing I have encountered was uploading the pictures, only took a week or so!!

I love this boat and the Pro XS. Am ordering the same rig but might order a Cougar, The only difference between the two other than the striping is the front deck layout is a little different. Hi All, Sorry I forgot to mention the motor has as extended warranty until September 2016 and as with all the Basscats Lifetime ,fully transferable, warranty on the hulll!!!

Hi If the leak is from the cowling it is probably th resivoir cap as the guys have mentioned. However had the same problem and low and behold on the manufacturing process 2 bolts were left out of the block causing oil to seep and this did not show up until several months after purchase. Mercury sent me a new block overnight and did not even blink. Great Warranty!!! Hope yours is simple. by the way mine was also a 2012

All were frauds. best way to deliver money now is to wire it to the sellers bank. It is just like cash , once it is in your bank it is good and the transaction can not be reversed. Good Luck everyone and be carefull on both sides of the transaction.
