I was hesitant buying a 18.5 ft boat, but let me tell ya, Im not anymore. My Sabre handles rough Pickwick and Tennessee River water as good as I could have imagined. Plus It just fits me and my fishing habits. I would have loved a bigger boat, but for the price I got mine for, Its just perfect.

I got mine on the way for my birthday. I cannot wait to install it, sit in my seat for a while and just admire how good it looks. I did choose the older style, not because of the price difference but because of the looks.

I just reused the old steering wheel base. I didnt see any harm in it seeing as though everything lined up and fit fine.

toledobasser wrote: jrskinner, I removed the old steering wheel from the old base and attempted to put the new one on. I was able to put the new wheel on but when I go to put the center cap on, the bolts are too big for the holes. So…..I either have to find some bolts that will fit or go ahead and pull the old base as originally planned. I reused the original bolts as well. Everything went back together just fine using the old stuff.

Look into a Backwoods smoker. Lots of different sizes, and has contributed to the Memphis In May World Championship grand champs a few years in the running. I own one and its a breeze to learn and cook on.

Would this tire/wheel combo ( I like both wheels ) fit in a 2003 Sabre fender well ?

I am looking at the reliability and the gas aspect. Im not really worried about the speed aspect as I am something economical and a WARRANTY!
