that little tip splash was scary. It filled the floor board of my sabre up to my knees almost in 1 second.
i have no excuses
hey wv have you ever fished the h & S trail there in wv
i lived in princeton a year ago servicing the coal fields and we fished a couple of night tounaments on claytor. We did our best at night fishing dropp shots on big drop offs.
thanks for getting back with me so fast the next day on the lake will be learing the setup and engine height also learning how to use my new lowrance gps and graph i got last night. cant wait.
you are exactly right, the knob is missing and only the wire is sticking out. thanks jignpig.
Just because LSU puts the hurt on TN dont hate on the bass cat. Foot ball and fishing is all we have in la.
At WOT no one in any type of boat should be doing anything like that. Because that is what happens. The human body is not meant to be thrashed around like that and that is what happens in any kind of high speed wreck. I broke my back and ribs leg and had multiple punktured organs from a high speed humvee wreck in the marines and it takes years to get over something like that. His chest will be hurting for the rest of his days. Safety is paramount.
I was having the same problem of chine at wot. And what is did is raise the engine as high as possible without lossing water pressure. To be on the safe side my engine is 3.5 below pad and it worked. If you think about it the higher you put the engine the more the boat is going to be in the water and the engine is going to have less drag. I tried it on the river the other day and i was able to open her up with almost no chine and with a little practice and steering correction there was no chine.
I have a bone to pic with BASS i love environmental work that is what i set my degree around in school. So that i can go to work in the environmental field, but man i subscribed to read about the elite series fishing tour and absolutely more in depth than they go into. But all i read about is how they help someone sue somebody else. I bet there were ten articles in last months issue where the climax of the story was ” and we had a lawsuit and sued them. ” That is not what i paid to read. Sorry for the rant
I took Lisa Craig a Womens BASS pro out to pre fish in her 21 legend with a 250 pro xs on the ouachita river. She let me have control of the boat and record everything on her lowrance. All i can say is the boat fished great and rode smoothe but i had that boat wound out until it was really too many rpms and all her boat would do was 70 mph. That is plenty fast for some people but we made some 30 minute plus runs and the extra speed would have definately helped out, it porpoised just a little bit you had to be easy on the trim early, the boat also seemed to run realy deep in the water like the boat didnt have any lift so those are my thoughts i would say drive one and make your own decision it may just have been her set up.
I have never been there but i fished a triton trail up there in 07 so i am familiar with that type of fishing so hopefully we catch alot of fish. I am going up there four days in advance to fish every day to stay on the fish.
yeah i made that mistake when i started fishing tournaments. So i wont be doing that again.
