Thank you all very much for your responses I find this very helpful. I will try to run a 25 today weather permitting?Dave what kind of rpms are you running with the fury 25? it sounds like our setups are the same except i hava a atlas hydraulic jp.

The best holeshot which i have achieved with my puma and 250 sho was using the yamaha t1 25 pitch prop. With a partner full fuel ,full livewells ,( minus any real fish wight) two powerpoles and 4 batteries. The downside for me with that prop was it would only run about 70 mph.?I am currently running a 26 fxp turbo which does well on holeshot as long as you only have about 30 gallons of gas and otherwise have the full load. This will run you around 74 mph.My next prop to try will be a fury 3 blade 25 pitch.

I have a 2016 Puma FTD with a 250 SHO and Atlas JP I run mine on 3 with the only exception being if I have to get on pad fast in shallow water with a heavy load.
