BCB- Thanks, I had a feeling it would be in the 4-6 weeks and was hoping it would not be longer than that. Will I be able to get pictures of the boat in the different stages of the build?Tim
Tim, They are building files for some models, and they post them on a Facebook site once they get them process completed through delivery, by the serial number. You dont have to be a member of Facebook to view them if you have the link, though if you desire to add images after the delivery, then you have to be a member. This should get you to the Facebook site of “Bass Cat Boats by Serial Number”: http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/pages/Bass-Cat-Boats-by-Serial-Number/106283106080215?ref=tsBCB
The console has a trim line for cosmetics on the right hand side. This is the only thing that prevents a flush mounted HDS 8. That line runs vertical and is slightly elevated. You will need to boost or space the unit off the dash somehow. This will require a 3 sided or adjusted spacer rim ring. The front is no issue other than a tight fit, and if you run Minn Kota you might have to elevate that gimbal slightly.
I figured the front might be tight because I do have the Minn Kota and the LCX 28hd that is on the front is already tight. I may put it on a short ram mount. The dash may take some “Carolina engineering” it looks like. Thanks for the response.
No, you can still get the 1440 in the new console and drop the Speedometer. Or we are also still finalizing a revision of the original console to fit an HDS 8 unit with the same format. That will be done by January. BCB
That! Is really good to know, Thank You.Chuck
doesnt seem to be as much color this year.
This was a next week post. The foliage Is dry with the drought conditions at the end of summer. The last two months have been nearly rainless for the Ozarks. The drive produces some mixed areas on ridges that have moderate colors in spots. Though overall the leaves are falling brown from drying. We just got our first rain in some time and we were about to see how the colors are after that. It can turn green trees in yellow shades, though Tuesday is the tell time on that. This is not one of those breathtaking years for color where the whole drive is blowing leaves of color and glowing trees. It is more of a patchy spot view. Though it has been two (2) of the most gorgeous months ever for temperatures, blue bird skies, wind and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. This little front blows through Monday and it should be the prettiest week of the year after that.
The Trails endorsed in the Nashville market were done through dealership endorsement and they work out of the dealership, even storing their equipment there. We will let the dealership have the decision on those trails. BCB does not have an issue with multiple sponsorships at small levels, though if there is boat product involved the event then we have issues depending on how an owner incentive is displayed. That becomes a BCB endorsement when product is involved.
I was just kind of curious of a yearly sales number but since inception……wooweeJim EbarbMany, LA (Toledo Bend Lake)2004 Cougar/ 225 OptimaxHumminbird Helix 12 Chirp SI on BalzOut Mount at bowLowrance HDS 7 at bowHumminbird Helix 12 Mega SI on Ram Mount at ConsoleLowrance HDS 8 in dash at console
i kill LOTS of cats!
Unfortunately the Pierce family has never released those numbers. They probably have them and you can bet Rick knows the information, though they dont discuss boats per year or over a course of time. Part of being a private company we guess.
And just like Chevys ,most still running.BAYOU BANDIT
I know of two that have been sold!!
I enjoy it when I pull into a canal now and then and see one of my old boats, a few years ago there were 3 boats in 1 canal and they were all cats and I owned the other two before.
