She probably will outfish me if she takes after her mother. Im getting tired of having my hat handed to me. The classic was great the first of Dec. at El Novillo in Mexico.

I use comet to take off the black marks. I put a coat of wax on afterward just to help the shine.

At least once every two years. The impeller on that Merc. is a small diemeter and has short arms. It is prone to not be as flexable as one with longer arms, it will take a “set” and not pump as well as it should. I change my own.

Those are rubber grommets that I got from Bobby Lee in BCB Parts. They are too thick to fit the cutting board material so i cut the back flange off the grommet and then siliconed them in the cutting board. No need to strap the rods. They stay in place all the time and the reels dont touch.

Sorry, I didnt measure them. That one weighed 8-7. My largest up to this trip was 6-4. Hope to beat 8-7 on my next trip.
