It is definitely a pulling and driving machine.Looks like I found my next truck, My Eco Diesel gets 20-21 empty with wheels/tires/level/bumper and 15-16 pulling at 70.

Always Always Always use bolts with fender washers and locking nuts. The Ballzout is a rigid style mounts which puts a lot of stress on the fiberglass. The access hole is supper easy to install. If you can predrill a screw hole, you can use a hole saw. p.s. Put a dab of silicone on the fender washers. This way you can stick them, then put the lock nut on.

Its actually very easy. Call Allen in parts. Get the large RAM with square base along with a 6″ access panel and all hardware. All you need is a 4.5″ hole saw along with #2 square bit for the BCB screws. 1. Remove trollingmotor pedal.2. center up your access panel.3. cut the whole in the center. ( once your panel is centered under your pedal, park the 4 wholes in the panel then take a ruler and cross the dots, this will give you a center spot to cut your hole)4. decide where you want the RAM base then drill your bolt holes. 5. Bolt down base, screw down access panel, replace trolingmotor panel. (when putting the fender washers under the deck, put a dab of silicone on the washers, This will hold them so you can put the lock nut on)

p.s. Two of the pre drilled holes on the RAM mount will match your helix gimbal. Bolt it down with them two then drill your other two holes. I use a 5/16″ bit just so Ill have a little movement if I need it.

As far as a Finishing bit, You can take a larger drill bit and run your drill in reverse with light pressure. All you are doing is trying to make a taper on the top gel coat. This prevents stress cracking. Personally, I would put silicone in the old holes.

I run a supper heavy Puma FTD/Sho. twin blades, 36v 112, myself 300# plus who ever I draw in bfl. I run a 25p sho prop without an issue. If she is sluggish, Ill raise my plate and drop it while im getting on plane. On a side note. I would like to see what happens if you drill vent holes in your 26p fxp. If you can get the rpm up to 3200rpm youll get on plane. If youre close, we can test our different props.

Call Allen in parts. Might ask what covers they do have in stock. Ive lucked up and found one before.

I have not had an issue with measuring problems. For future practice, leave a cull ring on any fish under 14.5″. Fish will shrink 1/8″ sometimes in a live well. All tournaments will have a bump board separate from weigh-in line. At that point check the fish.

Take a 5gallon bucket full of water. Dump it into the trollingmotor well. Then watch a what happens. From there go to lids. Itll either be a latch or gasket.

Unfortunately, Im no help on the Lynx. I hope to have my inventory boat in a couple weeks. I Have installed a couple graphs in the front of different model Bass Cats using starboard as spacers. A lot of customers like the rigidity of having their graphs mounted directly in the recess. With the Larger Helix series, I have used starboard to raise the graphs enough to clear over the fiberglass. I then through bolt it with large stainless fender washers. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to me.

The trick is folding the graph down in rough water. If you start spearing waves, Ive seen it break a couple Balzout mounts.
