I have a new Tahoe(2007) and just picked up my New Puma. I used a 2″ drop on my old boat(2001 Bullet and 2003 Ford Expedition). Wasn’t even close, Dealer gave me a 4″ drop and that was still alitlle bit high(towed it 7 hours home). I purchase a 5 1/4″ drop and that is perfect. It would appear that the Tahoe is the same height as the Expedition when looking at them when they are parked next to each other but it is not so. The Tahoe is definetly higher in the rear!! Hope this helps ya!!

I used an exact blade on the outline of the roller supports and then used a very sharp wood chisel to get the exact depth. When it was finished it looked like it came that way from the factory, best mod I could have done, going to be doing my buddys Stratos trailer as he has tore up the keel of his boat in the same way!!
I am doing the same thing as Mike and it works just fine with my 07 Puma, Also found that if the livewells are full and gas in the saddle tanks, she slides right on no problem. Goes to about 6″ short of the bow roller, goose the gas and drive her home. Not sure what motor you ordered on your rig but the Merc 250 ProXS with a 27 Trophy gets er done!! Jewalston what prop are you running in place of the trophy? Would love to play with another prop on my rig as I have only experienced the trophy
Why couldnt the EPS file be available as a download from this site maybe under the Quest Program Section as a requirement to be eligible for the Quest program the BCB logo and certain attire would be required. That way it would not require anyone form BCB to be tied up with continually sending the file out to individuals. I for one will be purchasing a couple of the new style shirts with my company logo and would love to have the BassCat Logo on my shirts as well!! Just a thought!!
Ditto checking avatar out
6.75 largemouth 5.0 smallie(kicker of a 17.5 lb bag of all smallies

Did you talk to him or tell him that you were fishing this particular area and that you were fishing a Tournament? If not then was he supposed to automatically know what your intentions were? If you did not speak up and stand your ground then, what happened, happened. Mike has an unbelievable competitive spirit and when he gets in the zone there are few things that can distract him. Everything else is heresay!(My sisters brothers best friend said this!) Ever been to one of the Elite weigh-ins?? Wanna know who is the last guy signing autographs and hamming it up with the kids? Mike I. I think the mitigating factors far outweigh the aggrevating factors for BassCat. How many forums are you going to post this on??Last edited by BlackJack Baits on September 23rd, 2008, 2:15 pm, edited 1 time in total.
The folks at Pops are number one in my book. I have purchased 2 new boats from them and the staff made both an enjoyeable experience. Being from NJ and purchasing a boat from a dealer 5.5 hours away was worrisome initially but anytime I have ever had a problem, made a call and within a day anything I needed was on the front porch!! Wayne and Richard are very knowledgeable and friendly. I will buy my next boat from them as well, Gonna have to get me one of those BayCats to cruise around in the salt H2O. Just dont ask Richard what crankbaits he uses!!
Peepers Baits or you can hit Simmons Sporting Goods on Ebay I have ordered from both and they are top notch
Keelshield manufactures a clear transon shield for pleasure boats that are usea swim platform to beach jetskis. If a Jetski does not scratch it I doubt a reel or rod will either, you could probably have it printed upon with some logos and it would look sweet! Might be something to look at!!Last edited by BlackJack Baits on June 15th, 2009, 3:14 pm, edited 1 time in total.
My main concern with the whole mounting system is… Could it damage my boat, mainly the bow mount as I know the port side of the gunnel is reinforced where the trolling motor is mounted, What about the starboard side? Is there reinfocement there?? I certainly would hate to have the mounting bracket rip a nice hole in all that pretty gelcoat and glass when one of the 40 pleasure boaters go ripping by me creating a monster wake
I will give it another try, tried clockwise and counterclockwise and it did not work!
