Thanks BCB, that makes perfect sense! JR
No problem Basschaser, I appreciate your response anyway. JR
That story does not surprise me in the least. BCB is second to none and go above and beyond. JRLast edited by JRoberts on October 27th, 2008, 3:36 pm, edited 1 time in total.
I do have both units going at the same time, but you can see in the picture where I shut off the big engine and all the clutter when away, so it has something to do with the motor, or the motor cables, or the location of the transducer, or, or, or? Thanks, JR
Do you have one of the new ladders, I have one on my 08 Cougar FTD and it took me several trips out to figure out what was making that noise. Was very concerned until I realized what it was. Good Luck, JR
I had a pair of Maui Jims, and they had the best clarity that I have used and I have used Costas for years. I say had, if you get some be sure to use a lanyard as mine blew off my face and are now in Davy Jones Locker! Good Luck, JR
Who are you planning on sponsoring?
I spoke to James N. earlier today and I definitely plan on being there. This looks to be a great event, we just need to get the word out. As soon as the info is available I will post it to Texas Tournament Zone. (TTZ1.com) Looking forward to it! James Roberts
If using the maker will it run if it gets rained on ? Thanks,JR
Not to hijack this post, but what can be done to make the clear rails look better, mine look like they have 1000 cracks in them? 2008 Cougar FTDThanks,JR
I will be there weekend after next, do you have any tips on how to catchem like the ones in your pics? Thanks,JR
Loanshark,Thanks for the info, I will be there on the 17-19th trying to figure them out, and try not to do any damage to the Merc and Kitty. Was there about 3 weeks ago and the only thing we could get were schoolies, just looked on a web site that said that the lake was at 167, which is only about a 1 different than when I was there last. Looks like they are going to pull it down to 165 though. Thanks again,JR
Good luck with it stopping at 2 years, my 9yo lab chewed up my shop vac hose recently. Sometimes they grow out of it sometimes they dont. Good luck either way!JR
Thanks for the responses guys, I currently have an 08 Cougar FTD, and this is my second Cougar and third Bass Cat. I was just curious if all the boats were going to the dimensions that the Eyra has. (Thanks Bass Cat for the explanation) I am pretty hung up on my Cougar, and will most likely stay with this model when I look to get a new one next year. Thanks again,JR
White and Blue, a true Wildcat! Great looking boat.JR
