Was your cooler under the middle section of your old seats and if so can you still access it? Thanks.
Thanks, I have a 98 Jag and would like to upgrade the seats. Looks like I will be calling Scott.
good to hear from you. I still follow the tournament scene out west and see you had a couple really good finishes. Good job! I hate to admit it but I miss Mead, Havasu, going to Clear Lake and all the friends I made fishing out there. There is alot of lakes really close to me here, just have to figure them out. Dont know if you knew but the last couple of years in Vegas I was really sick, thats why I wasnt fishing. So I really havent worked for going on three years now. I am doing alot better now. I can fish for whole days, not just a couple of hours. now for the good part… my wife was offered a really good job in Akron, Ohio, good enought that I dont have to work and with her blessing thats what Im going to do just fish and be the “house boy” as I am called now. I always wanted to retire at 50, just missed it by a little bit. Good luck out there with your fishing and business, I know how tough it is. Take care, Carl
Thanks BassCat and Brannon, I appreciate the info. I just moved to the Portage Lakes area of Ohio and there is 3 or 4 electric motor only lakes real close to me. Looks like I have a project to start on. Again thanks for the quick response. Carl
Clayton, Good job, nice looking smallies. Thanks for the info on Chautauqua Lake, hope to run into you some day. Leaving tommorrow, will let you know how we did. Again Thanks, Carl
It worked yesterday, but the address I used was ]. Add the dot after linda.
I work in the store front part of LBF so if anybody does have any issues I can at least help steer you to the right people to get everything taking care of. I dont have a lot of posts but I get on here just about everyday, so let me know if I can be of any help. If anybody is in the area stop by and say hi. I cant make the OI this year but look forward to meeting everybody someday. Thanks, Carl
Thanks Mike, I will try those two props. It is about 1004 feet here. A prop shop up by Lake Erie recommended a 23P 5 blade. I dont know anything about those but I will probably try it also. Again thanks, Carl
Thanks everybody. Bryon, First thing beautiful boat. I think my next boat will be a eyra. I owned a custom cabinet shop in Las Vegas for 22 years. My wife has been a director at a couple different call centers. Funny you mention tackle stores, I have been the manager of Landbigfish.com, a internet and 8000 sq. ft tackle store in Akron, Ohio for the last 2 years. alot of our products come from around there and everyone I talk to loves it there. The fishing is pretty good around here but I cant imagine fishing all those great lakes. If anyone has any suggestions or leads it would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to coming down there and looking around and meeting some fellow bass cat owners. When is that bass cat event on guntersville? Again Thanks… Carl
thanks Bass Cat and Ward.
Yeah, I have that pic saved. Wondering if there are any others. Wife likes that one. I think I may be able to talk her into getting “us” (haha) a new boat. Thanks ToledoBasser.
Thanks, guess I will have to give in and sign up for facebook.
Thanks for the link toledobasser. Picture at the owners invitational looks a lot brighter than the facebook picture, must be the lighting. How did it look in person?
Flyswatter, try this http://www.allisonboats.com/content/bass-boats/e-ped/. I am trying to find one to look at to see if it will work on a basscat. Looks like it would without the recess that it sits in. Not many allisons that Ive seen here in Indy, maybe someone can chime in that has seen one up close. Thanks for all you contribute on here. I seen it about a month ago but have had no luck finding one to look at. Keep me posted if you can find anything out and I will likewise. Maybe someone will chime in.
