Thanks! The dealer I visited did not have a Margay. He actually said he had never had one through his dealership. He was very helpful in showing me several other boats. I was impressed by the quality and by the dealers willingness to talk to me. We went over a lot of options, etc. but I had forgot to ask about rod straps. RC, How often do you use the sealer? How often do you wipe down with the Showroom Polish?Thanks!DanRazorCatBuy the Pro-Tec system. Wash it and seal it. Use the Showroom Polish to wipe it down. You shouldnt need the Nu-Paint Moisturizer on a new hull. The sealer works as advertised. My hull stays slick as a button. Nothing sticks to it. If youre not satisfied after you try it, PM me. Ill buy what you have left over.

Out of the 80 Sabres listed in the owners gallery that list HP. 62 have 150s on them & 17 have a 175 on it. One listed a 200HP!!!Dan

Ok! So is one coat of Gator Hyde standard on the trailers? and you pay extra for extra coats or is it an option to just get one coat and then extra for additional coats?Dan

Very interested in this subject as I am looking to possibly buy a Sabre FTD with the Merc Optimax Pro XS 150HP and want the best possible prop on it. I will run most of the time with a medium load, split between solo and with a passenger.Dan

If I have a cable hooking the 2 LSS the units would they still only read their individual transducers? On the bow am I ok going with LSS 2 or should I try to find a LSS 1? Or should I consider the HDS Touch 7? Is the NMEA2K network box (I assume it is a box) expensive?What part of IN are you in? I am in Southern IL just west of Evansville, IN about 40 miles.DanGRR884Dan,External Antennas will require a NMEA2K Network. Ethernet cable runs between your HDS and LSS unit. You could run another ethernet directly between the LSS units and then all your units would be networked to share info like transducers, waypoints etc.

I had a Supra Comp ski boat back in the day it was a 1987 and proudly said AME4000 on the back, I see some companys still talking about AME, whats your opinon if you can post? So are you suggesting I go with like the Lowrance Touch 7? Can that unit be networked to the HDS 10 Gen2 on the console? Anybody? I am also pretty sure I can get a hold of a Lss 1 I fished with a guy that had the Lss 1 on his troller and it was awesome for getting right on a stake bed. He even switched to sidescan a couple of times when he would miss it and instantly found it. I dont mind scouting with my Lss 2 on the console & transom, but if I am going to fish a brushpile or stake bed I would much prefer to have my eyes up on the front of the boat while I sneak in from a little distance.Dan
