Is the boat still available? I just sold my Ranger. And, Im looking to get into a smaller boat. I live close to the GA/AL stateline.
Mr. Freeman….. I will actually take you up on this offer. BTW, Bartletts is what I consider my “home” lake. And, for your kindness, I will share several locations that I have planted PVC pipes that are shaped like large “button bushes” all over the lake. I fish between 30 – 40 tourneys on Bartletts every year. I will shoot you an e mail. Im not sure what you schedule looks like. Im in sales. And, the area you live in is actually my sales territory. I am available 7 days a week to meet up with you. The only problem I see is, with all the rain we have had, Im sure the wonderful floaters are heading straight down the hooch as we speak. BTW my e mail address is ]Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!!Richey
Thanks for the kind words Carky. Guys, Carky allowed me to fish out of his P II last week. He did not know me from Adams house cat. If fact, the first time we met at this house, he gave me a complete “walk through” inside and out, on the features provided by BCB. We had a great time on the lake. And, caught a few fish while learning about the boat. Many thanks goes out to Carkys kindness. Its great to have someone lend a helping hand with a very important purchase. And, to make a new friend is even more rewarding. Richey
I have a 2011 PII with a piece of sh!t Motorguide. I will not stop until BCB replaces this TM with a Minn Kota. I have already broken 2 pull cords. And the 3rd is about gone. The side to side slap is horrible. I cant deploy or retract the unit without an act of GOD. I took my boat to a certified MG repair shop today. He has been is business for over 35 years. And, his exact quote “yours is on the extreme bad side if what I have seen. MG does not have a “known” fix. Just a few bandaid suggestions.” BCB will need to step up and fix this ASAP. I will not put another MG on my boat or any half-ass fix on this boat. If BCB does not do the right thing, I will sell this boat and go back to Ranger. I bought this boat based on the overwhelming information on BCBs customer service. I know that MG is a vendor of BCB, but this is also a extension of the BCB product and name…….we will see.
Thanks! I will try that. I did completely loosen both sides but could not get the passenger side to fall to even level. I will try the WD-40. Would this situation cause a performance issue?
More speed is available, correct?
Your numbers sound about like what Im expecting. Solo with 1/4 to 1/2 a tank I was hoping for 71-72 mph. It never was a big deal until I was outrun last week in a tx. Both of us going to the same hole. It was a 10 mile run. End result, the other guy wins the tourney on the fish we both found.
Thanks for the photo. What is the height on that? Chris, please look at GRs photo. That appears to be at least 1 inch. Im I looking in the right place?
No wonder!!!!!! I had the back area flush. My motor is way too low.
Mine was doing the same. Is your transducer in the hull for this unit? If so, the transducer needs to be replaced. My 2011 P II had both the front and rear transducers mounted in the hull. Both units did this. My friend, former product engineer with Humminbird, said the WRONG epoxy was used when my boat was rigged. Thus, causing air bubbles and moisture to develop where the transducers are mounted. I got Bobby ( CS at BassCat ) to send two new ducers…….. Not a problem since. Bobby is the best in the business. I cant remember the name of the epoxy he used. He had HB send him some.
Upgraded my 2011 PII with Southco. They are a little “pricey” but to me worth it. The biggest hassle was cleaning up the rubber silicone left behind from the removal of the perko latches. The latches fit flush with the deck……..word to the wise, dont step on the latches during the summer when barefoot…….. you will have a pretty brand on the bottom of your foot.
