The boat is a 2012, was thinking it was quick for a breaker to start going bad.

Just measured the one I have on my Margay. It is 35″ tip to tip, and 32″ from the tip that goes to the motor end to the bottom of the cup that sets on the roller. The motor is a 150 instead of a 115 though. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help. Do you mean cut it close to the fitting and just press it back in or is there more to it? How would the piece that was cut off come out of the fitting?

Thanks for all the help. Got it reconnected and so far no more leaks. Hopefully it stays that way.

I had the same problem on a 12 Margay. Slotted the holes like Basscat is saying, I havent had any problems with it rattling. It snugged down tight enough it still spins easily on mine but takes decent effort to move it up and down in the slot.

I had to slot the holes just a little under a 1/4 inch, now I have about 1/8″ clearance.

Well it looks like Bass Cat answered while I was typing! They already knew my next question.

I agree people here probably could answer most if not all the questions. Im trying to keep brand bashing out of it, also why I was careful not to ask the questions as it would key to which manufacturer it is. I didnt want it to turn into one of those type topics.

Just to make sure I understand correctly, on the Motorguides with the on/off on the pedal, you can just turn it to off on the pedal and not have to worry about unplugging the TM. Is that correct?

Thank you for the info, I found the dimensions. How much distance is needed between the top of this light and the bottom of the trolling motor for correct functioning?
