Make sure that the motor is getting up to proper temp. These motors are notorious for fouling plugs when a thermostat stays open from debris.

I know you can use the new short brackets for the 10 Blades. They fit inside the sponsons. I dont recall if there is another standard bracket that will allow the ladder to be used.TommyYettsRockwall Marine

It sounds like your enrichener is not working with the key switch. You can test for voltage going to the enrichener valve using a voltmeter and have someone turn key, push in key and check for voltage on the yellow wire. If there is no voltage then the ign. switch could be faulty. If there is voltage then the enrichener valve is bad.

If you have a Slidemaster jackplate then you can use the short brackets used for the 10 blades.
