I am happy to have this boat. I have owned a skeeter and Phil Addisons old Champion at one time so this should be a change for me but a good one.

UHHHHH yeah it would drive like. Well let me stop myself since I have never driven a boat with such a coat of line-x or rhino liner on it I can not say how it would run. Although the is a product that airboats put on the bottom which from what I hear is like teflon and will protect the hull.

Yeah that is what I meant to say. The Eyra really brought a whole new idea to a bass boat. I love mine. I guess I will make it a little different of a question. Was the hull redesigned or was there something else say weight that was changed that affected the speed of the boat. Thanks

Oh yeah exactly. I do to. Kinda cool to know the boat you drive is where many things started. Well driving a bass cat alone is cool.

Plus when hot roddin a 2.5 you are not going to get much more bottom end torque that you are looking for just some way out there high end horsepower is attainable. I blow a 2.5 200 efi and did some major work to turn it into a 260. After 4 grand and lots of time the boat only improved holeshot by maybe a second or 2. Work on your props or get a 3.0 litre. Heck unless you are worried about warr. or ins. just go get a big block 225 if ya want. its your boat.

Pick your own colors. If she wants to pick colors tell her to get her own boat. As long as she can pull her car in the garage you should be ok. Girls dont want boats(most girls dont) they want diamonds. Just walk in and say honey I got a boat today and it is in the garage. When she sees it and is mad say whoa baby I got something for you to. Then hand her a bobble and all will be well. You may even get lucky.

Thanks man. The old Champ was still in pretty good shape when I sold her I would say a 8 out of 10. I tell ya if you are on the lake and you think you see it just listen. If it sounds like a 280 ss promax then that is it. We ported the mid and really turned it up a bunch. I wish I could have that motor. I will let ya know if I need anything. Bass Cat has taken care of so much for me already. Thanks again

The manual that I have downloaded is not very visible as far as the wire diagram goes. Does anyone have a better picture or copy of the wiring diagram? Thanks for all of the help I hate to keep asking questions about the same issue.

That is just a guy that dont know that he needs to slow down. I think he was turning and gunned it there as he went over the wave. NOT A GOOD IDEA. You cannot do it the way he did. Not at that speed. Glad he lived though. Thing that impressed me the most it he aint sushi cause he was pretty close to the motor and that prop is still spinning long enough to finish the job. Glad he is ok Trim down +slow down=LIVE.Last edited by aceman93 on May 11th, 2009, 5:51 pm, edited 1 time in total.
